Since TNA Impact aired last night, PWPotato has learned that Vince Russo booked every tag team in TNA to break up and reform.
Just in the last four hours:
-Ink Inc. broke up and reunited.
-Beer Money broke up and reunited.
-Team 3D reunited and broke up again.
-The Beautiful People broke up and reunited.
-Mr. Anderson and RVD formed a close friendship, then broke up.
-Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan officially broke up, but then renunited.
-Scott Steiner and Rob Terry broke up, but reunited and hugged.
-Jeff Jarrett and Karen angle got a divorce, but quickly renewed their vows.
-Max Buck and Jeremy Buck reunited, only to break up immediately.
-Abyss and Jeff Hardy broke up, then reunited minutes later.
-Velvet Sky and Winter saw eye-to-eye, but only for two minutes.
-Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett vowed to win the tag titles together, then broke up six minutes later.
-Eric Young discovered Orlando Jordan's secret, broke up, then came to accept him as he is.
This apparently happens after every episode of Impact. Vince Russo cannot stand the constraints placed on him by his superiors, who insist that he not break up more than two tag teams or friendships per week, and no tag teams or alliances can break up within three weeks of forming.
In order to keep him sane, TNA management allows Russo to book TNA exactly as he sees fit in internal documents, as long as what makes it to the airwaves still is within the restrictions.
"We've found Russo to be much calmer and relaxed come Friday morning's booking meetings when he is able to get at least a dozen break-ups and reunions out of his system Thursday night after he watches Impact," says one secret source in TNA who is definitely not Don West. "Before Dixie let Russo have this, well, fantasy off-air promotion, Russo would come into work Friday's without any sleep, just pulling at his hair, complaining that not enough happened on Impact the night before and no wonder the ratings didn't go up more. We all look forward to Fridays a lot more."
We also learned that Russo turns every heel in the promotion babyface on Saturdays, but turns them back heel on Sundays. Mondays, he turns everyone into a tweener. Then Tuesday's he turns every babyface into a heel, but then Wednesday's turns them back.
"This makes him much more relaxed on Thursday nights when he watches the final version of Impact on Spike TV," says our source. "He knows he's put in a full week's worth and really made that effort, in his view, to book a dynamic promotion that's never boring, even if no one knows about it but him and the office staff around here. He really wants to start a daily blog updating TNA fans about all the news they miss between Impacts each week, but we've convinced him this material is best kept private from the public until he writes his next book."
