Yesterday, we looked at the Top 5 Most Underutilized Wrestlers in WWE. Today, the Top 5 in TNA, based on who is left from their roster...

Top 5 Most Underutilized Wrestlers in TNA

(1) Jeff Hardy. This whole list could be dedicated to the under-utilization of Jeff Hardy. Or, as PWTorch editor Wade Keller says, "Jeff freakin' Hardy" is on the TNA roster, yet TNA acts as if Hardy is an interchangeable star. Who has a history of actually moving the needle in TNA? Hardy and a few others.

Just look at the "journey" TNA took Hardy on over the past year - main-eventing TNA's top PPV of the year in October 2012 to opening the same PPV in October 2013 as part of a mish-mashed Ultimate X monkey-bars match sharing the spotlight with four other wrestlers. It's time to find Hardy an issue, a purpose, and a spotlight feud coming out of BFG 2013.

(2) Samoa Joe. Joe is Joe. Need a good match? There's Joe. Need a backstage talking segment putting someone in-line? There's Joe. How about the occasional TV main event? There's Joe. But, he doesn't feel special anymore. And, the audience has seen him go through too many bad TNA storylines over the past five years to where he's not taken seriously at a main-event level.

This is not an overnight fix, as it would take months, if not a few years, of consistently booking Joe's character to get him back to main event potential he had in 2008 when he feuded with Kurt Angle. And, no, playing Magnus's babysitter in the "Main Event" Mafia is not the fix.

(3) Jay Bradley. The man can talk, he made an impression during his Gut Check introduction, and he brings an intimidating presence to the ring. Bradley is on the TNA roster, but you wouldn't know it since he disappeared after the BFG Series concluded. It's time for TNA to bring him back if they come up with a purpose and direction for his character.

(4) Kenny King. TNA snatched King away from Ring of Honor last year, but has used him sparingly since King dropped the X Division Title in June. King had something going with Austin Aries before Bound for Glory, but that has not been followed up on. He could be the anchor of an X Division that lacks depth right now.

(5) Hernandez. Hernandez, who combines the rare package of flight and power, was in the BFG Series this year, but he was lost in the mix of 11 other wrestlers. It seemed like TNA was setting up for something with Chavo Guerrero potentially turning on Hernandez during the Series, but that did not materialize. It's time to make Hernandez seem special again.
