ABOUT PWTORCH

Pro Wrestling Torch was founded by current PWTorch editor Wade Keller as a print newsletter in 1987. It is still published weekly today, read by thousands of subscribers worldwide with millions of copies sold to date. A paper copy is sent to some subscribers, a digital copy is available to online VIP subscribers. Over 1,200 weekly issues have been published.

PWTorch offered daily news & commentary updates by Wade Keller via 900 line throughout the 1990s. It was the only true daily way to get instant reliable insider news on pro wrestling during those years before the proliferation of the Internet.

PWTorch.com was launched in 1999 as a free website, distributing the Torch brand of wrestling journalism and commentary to a wider audience than ever. A VIP section of the site opened a few years later offering archives, news audio shows, a message board, and more content exclusively for subscribers, all ad-free.

PWTorch launched MMATorch.com in 2006, splitting it's dual coverage of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts into two distinct sites. PWTorch Newsletter covered UFC1 and other MMA events before and after UFC1 in the early 1990s.

PWTorch launched a mobile app for iPhone in 2008, for Android in 2009, and Amazon's App Store in 2010.

The daily PWTorch Livecast started broadcastiing on BlogTalkRadio in 2009. It has aired live every single weekday, without an exception for even holidays, since the first show in 2009. It has become the most widely listened to audio show covering pro wrestling in the world.

The Torch is read by tens of millions of fans each year, with over 250 million annual clicks and listens.
