READER REAX #1: Did you ever watch TNA and if so, why did you stop? "They could get me back if they put one person in charge who understands how to let a show breathe and come together naturally."

Today we are asking: We're asking you today, though, have you ever watched TNA Impact? How long did you watch it? What caused you to watch it at first and, if you've stopped, what caused you to stop watching it? And finally, is there anything they could do that would cause you to start watching it regularly again?

Johnny C. from Michigan asks: Started watching TNA in general during the weekly PPVs when I realized a bunch of old WCW/WWF guys were there. I was craving that grittier product that the young me thought WCW had given me, I was maybe 15? I craved an alternative. I've finally stopped, sometime after Aces & 8's went away. It started feeling too hokey, even for me. I chose Impact over WWE during the new Monday Night Wars, and since that first night it seemed to go downhill. I stayed for as long as I could. I checked it out last week, and it seems like it's gotten a little bit better. But, I don't know. Bound For Glory doesn't feel like the show it used to be promoted as, and the card has really thrown me back. I don't know anymore.

Mark from Massachusetts: I used to watch Impact because TNA would offer something that WWE would not, a viable tag team division. Teams such as Triple X and AMW in the early days to Beer Money and Motor City Machine Guns later on would put on some of the best matches on the card. The reason they lost me was because of the overly-choreographed nature of the show. From promos being interrupted on specific cue words to matches becoming 10 minute spotfests, I found myself being unable to suspend disbelief with this product. Impact feels very artificial. Good wrestling should strive to make you forget, not constantly remind you, that what you're watching is scripted. They could get me back if they put one person in charge who understands how to let a show breathe and come together naturally, and do away with the need to choreograph and control every minute aspect.

Matt P.: I was a regular Impact viewer between 2006 and 2011, but it became painful to sit through. Since then, I’ve caught a random episode here and there, but it’s never enough to re-earn my business and hook me for the following week. Nothing could bring me back at this point. They've had their chance and I've moved on. I am very much looking forward towards the debut of Lucha Underground and the upcoming launch of New Japan Pro Wrestling on U.S. PPV though.

Simon of Northampton U.K.: I watched TNA for around five years solid, I stopped watching about half way into Bully Ray's title run. I think the last time I enjoyed the product consistently was during the MCMG vs. Beer Money feud, and I have to admit I did get excited about the more recent Austin Aries title win. I initially started watching after getting a few tapes during the PPV days and when TNA finally came to the wrestling Channel in the UK, I thought it was a product that for the most part stood out as a WWE alternative (I remember fans chanting TNA during WWE PPVs when TNA was good; can you imagine that happening now?) I finally gave up as I was drained of all emotional investment with the product. Heel/face turns happen with such frequency it's hard to really get behind anyone. I eventually got so fed up of the stupid finishes that made me feel cheated I just gave up watching completely.

We want to hear from you. Which wrestler in WWE is most underutilized right now? Stick with the main roster, not NXT. Send your response and 200 words or less backing your case to pwtorch@gmail.com. Put "Q of Day" in the subject line. We may include your response in the Torch Feedback section this week.
