WWE Battleground Live Report
July 19, 2015
St. Louis, Mo.
Report by VIP member Damien

- Overall Score: 6.0. Not a bad show, but I can't help feeling like I wanted more. Undertaker's return was a big moment for sure, but I don't have much of a desire to see the Lesnar-Taker Mania re-match at Summerslam. Had it been a year ago, maybe.

- Best Match: John Cena vs. Kevin Owens.

- Worst Match: King Barrett vs. R-Truth.

- Biggest Pops: Undertaker (the biggest), Randy Orton in his hometown, NXT Divas, Brock Lesnar.

- Most Heat: New Day, Stephanie McMahon, WWE World Hvt. champion Seth Rollins.

- WWE World Hvt. Title match: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar. Didn't expect much knowing it was a set-up for Summerslam, though Taker returning was awesome!

- U.S. Title match: John Cena vs. Kevin Owens III. Both men brought it ... and Cena keeps the title. Great match nonetheless.

- Divas Triple Threat: Sasha vs. Charlotte vs. Brie. NXT Divas got plenty of showcase time and Brie held her own. Not a bad match.

- Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt: Mixed reaction for both men; boos were more audible for Roman. And the feud continues after Wyatt won with an assist from Luke Harper.

- Tag Title match: Prime Time Players vs. New Day. The PTP'ers retained the titles, and that's all you need to know.

- Randy Orton vs. Sheamus: The crowd was really into the hometown boy. It was not unlike their past matches, but a nice opener with Orton winning.

-Pre-show match: King Barrett vs. R-Truth - Battle for the Crown match. Typical pre-show match. Nothing special. There was an interesting Cena-style battle chant for Barrett in the crowd. Barrett wins - can we move on?
