Today we are asking: Which wrestler in WWE is most underutilized right now? Stick with the main roster, not NXT. This is the first batch of responses...

PWTorch reader Jason P.: Cesaro, without a doubt. Ideal size, marketable look, crowd-pleasing strongman style. It’s amazing when you think about the position he was in just six months ago, riding a wave of momentum going into and then coming out of WrestleMania 30. Such a wasted opportunity. If WWE would have just pulled the trigger and run with Cesaro when he was hot, they could have another headliner on their hands right now – at a time when they could really use one. Instead, they take a guy who was clearly getting over as a fan favorite and muck that up by putting him on the back burner – as a lukewarm heel, no less. And now he’s treading water in the middle of the card, and really back at square one. Just goes to show you can’t keep an over act in your back pocket until you’re ready to use it. You have to strike while the iron is hot. And you especially don’t pour cold water on it. That’s what happened to Cesaro.

PWTorch reader Andrew Bello of Florham Park, N.J.: The most underutilized talent on the main roster of WWE right now is Damien Sandow. Sandow had great heat when he was being pushed prior to his MITB victory. The cash-in on John Cena lead to a great match, but after that he fizzled out into oblivion. I don't think he fits the need for an additional babyface right now, but he can be utilized in much better way than making him The Miz's lackey. He's actually doing very well with that limited role and I like the Miz, but if Sandow could be let loose and allowed to do other things, I'm sure he would thrive. He could join the Authority, and transfer his "smarter than everyone" persona to a "Steph and H are smarter than everyone" suck up sort of role, and he could get rolled over every week by babyfaces like Kane ( but at least it would be new). I personally think they should pair him with Ryback when he returns from injury. They could be a credible tag team/comedy act: Brains and Brawn. He could even be a babyface in that role. They could be a cheaper version of the Rock N Sock Connection. Ryback would just babble about God-knows-what and Sandow could give the old What-In-God's-Name-Are-You-Talking-About routine. It'd definitely be more entertaining than watching him pretend he's injured at the end of Miz matches.

PWTorch reader Tim M.: I think the Wyatts. I don't know what happen after WrestleMania 30. The question remains... how did WWE run out of ideas for them they kind of put them on the back burner?

PWTorch reader Karl P.: I think the most underutilized wrestler on the WWE roster today is Damien Sandow. A great wrestler and a great talker who was stuck with a limited gimmick, no feuds of interest, and eventually fed to Super Cena when he cashed in Money in the Bank. Now relegated to the Miz's comedy sidekick, I think this guy, with the right storyline/feud, could be excellent. Fighting the likes of Rollins/Ambrose/Bryan/Wyatt over the Intercontinental Title would be TV I would love to watch. Now if only creative could pretend like they cared about a meaningful mid-card, they might actually build some new stars.

PWTorch reader Ryan from Philly: I am going out on a whim here because I know a lot of people do not share my feelings, but I really liked Alex Riley. Sure he was green, but I feel he had a lot of upside. He had a pretty good look, and I feel that if given the time to develop he could be a great cocky, confident, arrogant heel.

We want to hear from you. Which wrestler in WWE is most underutilized right now? Stick with the main roster, not NXT. Send your response and 200 words or less backing your case to pwtorch@gmail.com. Put "Q of Day" in the subject line. We may include your response in the Torch Feedback section this week.
