-- WWE Extreme Rules PPV Reax

Mike Omansky, PWTorch correspondent (7.0 live): Best: Shield vs. Evolution. Worst: Divas (although not bad). I thought the show delivered. Shield-Evolution was excellent; crowd into it and great storytelling through the finish. Bray Wyatt won, as he should have, but I question the finish with the child - it borders on TNAish (which is not a compliment). El Torito vs. Hornswoggle on the pre-show was fun, and great for what it was. I was glad to see Wade Barrett get the IC Title; the live crowd was behind him. Bryan vs. Kane was fine, but I have seen it enough times - house shows, TV, and PPV.

Dee Curran (5.0): Best Match: Evolution vs. The Shield. Worst Match: Rusev vs. R-Truth & Woods. In previous years, the Extreme Rules PPV has produced some great matches with each match contested under Extreme Rules. This year's event was an example of poor WWE booking with the same lame middle of the road product we have been served up since Summerslam with predictable outcomes. The opening match continued Cesaro's push, but some of the spots were tired and messy at times. RVD just doesn't impress me these days. Making the second match a handicap was a waste, as one competitor never made it into the ring. Fair enough they are building Rusev into a destroyer, but I felt it was a waste of PPV air time. Then, Barrett's title victory was an average match. Evolution vs. Shield was the shining light with some good spots. However, the production direction was poor as the match made its way out of the ring area towards the end. A lot of action was missed by the camera people and visual mixers. Then, Cena-Wyatt was very repetitive and became tedious at times, but what a freaky ending. I barely paid notice to the Divas match. And, during the main event, my Network feed froze a few times and at one point caused the Android App to crash. What I saw was okay. However, I was surprised Kane was allowed to use a flaming table in the end.

Keith Sterling of Albuquerque, N.M. (A): Would I want to watch it again on Monday? Yes. Best Four Matches: (1) Shield vs. Evolution. (2) Cena vs. Wyatt. (3) Bryan vs. Kane. (4) WeeLC match. Move of the night: Paige's finisher - I did not think she could get it on Tamina.
