-- WWE PPV Reax

Chris in Liverpool, England (5.0): I'm glad this event was free in the U.K., as I wouldn't have paid for it, but I wanted to see the Rhodes-Shield match, which I genuinely popped for the ending of. The only other part of the PPV that felt original was Bray Wyatt doing his crab-walk. As for the ending, I was waiting until the closing graphics came up for a third referee to appear, then I went to bed confused. No logic in the fact that WWE has a squad of referees, but could only utilize two before calling the match off. I'm amazed that WWE used this type of ending less than a month after people actually wanted their money back for the ending of the last PPV.

Neil J. in the U.K. (4.0): The build-up to this PPV was weak! I had little to no interest in any of the matches, as WWE had done little to build up any rivalries for the matches with the exception of three matches. Rhodes-Shield was the stand-out, by far, with great emotion involved and the crowd was really into this contest... Punk-Ryback was decent. I'm a big fan of Punk's work, but Ryback is very dull... Again, we saw another screwjob in the WWE Title match. WWE's flagship belt! To me, it shows that WWE has lost faith in Daniel Bryan, think they are not sure whether they can trust Randy Orton due to his Wellness violations, and they are just filling the gap until John Cena returns. But, if they keep going with the screwjob angles and "good for business" phrases, fans will not invest in the product. They had a really good opportunity the way the fans were behind Bryan, even more so with the lack of faces on the roster at the moment. ... Overall, a poor PPV event! A lot of improvement is needed if they want us to shell out decent money for the next PPV.
