-- WWE Raw Reax 8/26

Al from NorCal (6.0): The score is pending Raw follow-up. I'm holding judgment for now on the ending of Raw in hopes that something bigger will be from this. Someone unexpected helping Bryan? Cena helping Bryan? Taker? Bautista. Hmmm. Also, I don't like another gimmick team (Los Matadores), but he storyline I'm intrigued by is who the Wyatt Family's next target is after disposing Kane.

Ashley from Minnesota (9.0 show, 0.0 logic): The show ended with a great match between Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins and the classic Shield triple powerbomb. But, when Randy Orton came out, I realized the logic hole in this segment. Remember last year when Big Show signed an "iron clad contract" so he could basically do whatever he wanted and not get fired? And especially because he wants to get his hands on The Shield, you would think he would help Daniel Bryan because he can't get fired! This part of the segment really puzzled me. But, overall, I thought this Raw was a very good show with multiple angles being set up for Night of Champions.

Pascale, PWTorch reader: This show did almost nothing for me. The Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio match was good, but throwing Ricardo Rodriguez into the mix seems forced to me. How about RVD just prove he’s still the whole f’n show and wants a belt? Oh wait, he’s not allowed to talk... The Punk-Heyman angle was done really well, but I have little faith in Curtis Axel. A.J.’s version of a pipebomb and Kaitlyn nowhere to be found to respond? No logic there. Next, it's amazing that WWE has nothing for Ryback after being near the top not so long ago... Orton vs. Christian was a really good match; these two work well together... The Bryan-Hunter/Orton/Shield angle I don’t like. I know heel champions aren’t supposed to act strong and use others to soften up the face opponents, but The Shield is in a no-win situation here. They were the outsiders who ran roughshod over whoever they pleased (except helping Paul Heyman get rid of Ryback for Punk), so now they look weak going up against Bryan in a gauntlet match and are now just Hunter’s muscle. Meanwhile, the whole roster just stands there and does nothing. WWE just made their entire roster of faces look weak, but, hey Triple H gets look like a b.a. in a suit, so it must be good, right? WWE has put on three good PPVs in a row and should be building off that momentum instead of creating these non-sensical angles and fillers.
