Renee Young is back on Superstars after a week off.

1 - ALICIA FOX vs. PAIGE

Lock-up ends with a knee lift from Paige. Back-and-forth. Sunset flip from Fox and a cover. Boot to the middle, then Paige schoolgirls Fox's head into the corner. Paige stomps all over Fox.

Headbutt drops Fox. Knee lifts through the ropes. Cover gets two for Paige. Paige steps on Fox's hair and pulls her up. Fox finally turns it around. Backbreaker gets two for Fox and Ram-Paige ends it.

WINNER: Paige in 4:10. The crowd treated Paige as the face here. Paige shines in a serious match, not some goofy feud of the Total Divas variety.

2 - SIN CARA vs. CURTIS AXEL

Sin Cara forces Axel into the corner out of the lockup. Arm drag embarrasses Axel. Clothesline lets Axel sustain offense. Sin Cara low bridges Axel, goes tot he top, Axel re-enters the ring, but Sin Cara adapt. Armbar sends us to break.

[ Break ]

Armdrag into an armbar for Sin Cara out of the break. Axel turns things around and Sin Cara is selling a shoulder injury. Surprise kick from the mat draws a double count and a reset. Sin Cars rallies. Axel gets dumped to the outside and Sin Cara hits a headbutt from the top rope to the outside.

Sin Cara wants his handspring back elbow but Axel has it scouted. Reset match again, Axel with a knee lift to the face for a nearfall. Axel sells a rib injury. Axel taunts Sin Cara through the ropes and pays for it. Swanton Bomb ends it.

WINNER: Sin Cara in 9:40. Fine match. Axel's lack of defined personality just doesn't inspire, though he did better tonight than he usually does.
