Report by James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor
Main Event opened with Dean Ambrose coming to the ring for a promo to start the show. "I'm back ... and I'm in a foul mood," Ambrose said. He wanted to cut the crap and get a fight against Seth Rollins, but he figures Rollins doesn't have the guts to come out to the ring and fight. Ambrose waited and waited for Rollins, then sat down in the ring. He couldn't sit still for long, though, and vowed to make Rollins pay the price for selling out to The Shield.
Alberto Del Rio's music interrupted to bring out Del Rio, who asked Ambrose what he is supposed to be. A rat? A dog who just came out of a dumpster? Del Rio told him to start worrying about him tonight. After all, he's a former World champion. They came face-to-face in the ring, with Del Rio vowing to take home Ambrose's arm tonight after putting him in the cross arm-breaker. Del Rio then surprised Dean with a kick to the injured shoulder before bailing from the ring. They're in the main event tonight.
Announcers: Tom Philips and Byron Saxton switched gears to hyping Summerslam. Specifically, John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.

1 -- WWE tag champs THE USOS (JIMMY & JEY) vs. RYBACK & CURTIS AXEL -- non-title match
Another round of this tag match, with the added element of Xavier Woods on commentary leading Big E. and Kofi Kingston. Uso started with a high knee to Ryback's face, but Ryback cut him off with a knock-down clothesline. Meanwhile, Xavier explained that he is representing the frustrations of both Big E. and Kofi. He said he is also tired of pandering to the fans and being distracted by outside forces. Back in the ring, Ryback wanted a top-rope move, but he airballed an elbow drop.
Hot tag to Jimmy Uso as Axel also tagged in. Uso butt-bombed Ryback, then chaos broke out. Axel suddenly grabbed Jimmy for a Perfectplex, but Jey broke up the pin. More chaos, then Jey took out Ryback on the floor, and Jimmy came off the top with a big splash to Ryback for the pin and the win.
WINNER: The Usos in 8:00. Basic, formula tag match, and Woods talked in vague terms about his new group to save the big explanation for Raw or Smackdown.
[Break]
Raw Rebound: Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella feud.
In-ring: Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater were introduced to the ring for tag action.

In-ring: Zack Ryder and Tyson Kidd were introduced as opponents for Slater & the Gator.
2 -- HEATH SLATER & TITUS O'NEIL vs. ZACK RYDER & TYSON KIDD
Ryder was sporting a heavy goatee as he keeps trying to change his look to get noticed. Meanwhile, Slater and Titus had issues trying to get on the same page as a tag team. Titus eventually just did things on his own by taking out Ryder with a clothesline from the ring apron. Titus wore down Ryder, but could not get a three count.
Kidd tagged in and delivered fast-paced offense before Ryder took out Titus with a corner Broski Boot. Kidd wanted a top-rope move on Slater, but Titus crotched Kidd from the outside. Slater then followed up with a top-rope powerslam for the pin and the win. The first win is in the books for Slater and Titus.
WINNERS: Gator Slater in 5:00. At this point, it just seems like something for them to do to stay visible on TV.

This Friday: Randy Orton has a message for Roman Reigns.
3 -- DEAN AMBROSE vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO
The announcers referenced Del Rio being cleared by WWE doctors beforehand after he suffered an eye injury Monday night at Raw TV. As soon as the bell sounded, Ambrose attacked Del Rio's eye to take advantage. But, Del Rio fought him off and targeted Ambrose's injured shoulder. Del Rio took control of the match heading to break.
[Break]
Back from break, Del Rio continued to work on Ambrose's shoulder. Ambrose fought back, then the two men went back and forth. When Ambrose got a slight advantage, Seth Rollins walked out on stage, distracting Ambrose, who left the ring to pick a fight with Rollins. The bell sounded to end the match, then Ambrose got the best of Rollins to send Mr. MITB packing to the stage. Ambrose stood tall in the ring as he was announced as the winner of the main event to close the show.
WINNER: Ambrose via DQ in 14:00. Basic reinforcement of the Ambrose vs. Rollins feud after not being featured last night on Raw. It will be a nice addition to the Summerslam card after not occurring as advertised at Battleground.
