Report by James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor
Main Event opened with a plug for U.S. champion Sheamus vs. The Miz in a re-match from Monday night's Raw, won by Miz. On cue, Miz was introduced to the ring, but for a promo segment. Miz was dressed in a bright blue outfit to annoy the audience.
Miz said this is historic because Miz TV is on WWE Network. Miz then pulled out a letter to silence and asked for more quietness. Miz read a letter playing off LeBron James's letter explaining why he is returning to Cleveland. Miz inserted his own WWE lines playing up his movie star heel persona, twisting LeBron's letter to inspire kids to find better places to grow up than Cleveland, like Hollywood. Miz vowed to win the IC Title battle royal at Battleground. Because he's The Miz, he's from Hollywood, and he's a star.
Sheamus's music interrupted to bring out the U.S. champion, who told Miz to take his talent out of this ring, back to Hollywood, and straight into the Pacific Ocean. Miz was unamused. He said he meets people like Sheamus all the time in Hollywood, but he never pegged Sheamus as being jealous. Miz removed his shades to focus on his money-making face. Sheamus laughed and said that face is actually making people ask for their money back. Sheamus then vowed to kick Miz's head off at Battleground. Or, right now. Miz ducked a Brogue Kick, though, and high-tailed it out of the ring to save himself for their match later in the show.

In-ring: Emma was introduced to the ring, making her return to TV following the alleged shoplifting incident earlier this month. Meanwhile, Naomi was ringside to join commentary hyping her match against Cameron on the Battleground pre-show. Cameron was then introduced as Emma's opponent.
1 -- CAMERON vs. EMMA
Cameron eyeballed Naomi at ringside prior to locking up with Emma and taunting her. Cameron dominated early on, then took time to taunt Naomi at ringside. Cameron then returned to the ring, where Emma rolled her up for a surprise three count. Post-match, Cameron angrily attacked Emma until Naomi charged the ring to make the save.
WINNER: Emma at 2:38.

2 -- BIG E. & KOFI KINGSTON vs. RYBACK & CURTIS AXEL
The first half of the match built to a big man vs. big man meeting between Big E. and Ryback. Kofi then got the spotlight taking out the heels on the outside heading to break.
[Break]
Back from break, Ryback and Axel took control of Big E. and began exchanging tags wearing down the former IC champion. It took Big E. a while to finally get that tag to Kofi, who flew into the ring with a chop to Axel's head. More high-flying, then a Boom Drop. Kofi wanted a top-rope move, and he connected with a cross-body splash for a two count when Ryback broke up the pin. Big E. then smashed Ryback, Kofi hit Axel with Trouble in Paradise, and Kofi made the cover for the pin and the win.
WINNERS: Big E. & Kingston at 11:08.
[Break]
Video packages on Battleground and Raw followed.
Backstage: Renee Young brought in The Miz for a follow-up interview on the opening segment. Miz said Sheamus is just like every other WWE star on the roster - jealous of him. Miz called himself a bright, shining mega-star.
Up Next: Sheamus vs. Miz.
[Break]
Back from break, The Miz was already in the ring sporting his heel magnet sunglasses. Sheamus came out next for this non-title main event.
3 -- U.S. champion SHEAMUS vs. THE MIZ -- non-title match
Sheamus sent Miz scurrying to the corner early on, forcing Miz to re-think returning to WWE from Hollywood. Miz left the ring moments later, then caught Sheamus on the way back into the ring. But, Miz missed a top-rope move and the match found its way to the floor. On the outside, Sheamus caught Miz running around ringside. But, Miz turned the tables and Sheamus nearly got counted out.
Back in the ring, Miz sat down on a mathold to try to wear down the IC champion. Sheamus started to make a comeback, causing Miz to lose focus. Miz then covered up his face when he sensed Sheamus warming up for a Brogue Kick, leaving himself open for Sheamus to roll him up from behind for a three count and the win. Afterward, Sheamus hit the ringside area to pose with his U.S. Title belt and the IC Title belt up for grabs in the battle royal at Battleground.
