Report by James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor
After Tom Phillips introduced the show, ring announcer Tony Chimel introduced Sin Cara for the opening match. Joining Phillips on commentary this week is Byron Saxton. Los Matadores (along with El Torito) were then introduced as Cara's tag partner for a six-man tag match.
Unimpressed by the visual display, the Wyatts interrupted and declared their arrival before slowly marching down to the ring.
1 -- THE WYATTS (BRAY WYATT & LUKE HARPER & ERICK ROWAN) vs. SIN CARA & LOS MATADORES (DIEGO y FERNANDO w/El Torito)
Rowan started things off dominating each Matador. An early rally clap from the crowd before Harper tagged in for more offense. Bray briefly entered before Rowan resumed the attack. Another rally clap, but no hope for the faces four minutes in. Fernando finally broke free of Harper and tagged in Cara, who came in hot with rapid-fire offense. But, Cara's attempt at a high-flying move was intercepted by a big boot to the chest. Harper tried a pin, but Cara kicked out heading to break.

Back from break, the Wyatts were in control, working on Cara. Plenty of close-ups on Luke Harper's crazed facial expression as he worked on Cara. Cara then delivered a desperation DDT, allowing him to tag in Diego. Rowan also tagged in. Diego delivered high-flying offense to Rowan, but could not get a pinfall.
Bodies started flying everywhere in the ring and outside the ring. Bray then found El Torito and stalked him, but Sin Cara stepped in front of Torito. Suddenly, Diego tried to roll up Rowan, but Rowan kicked out. Sin Cara then tagged in and smashed Rowan, but Bray tagged in behind Cara's back. Bray delivered an elbow smash, then stalked Cara for Sister Abigail. It was good for the pin and the win, deflating an excited crowd.
WINNERS: Wyatts at 12:43. Good piece of booking considering they needed to stretch this out two segments for TV purposes. So, the Wyatts dominated early, but acted like they were toying with the face trio to explain why they didn't win in two minutes. Then, nice build to the face trio's high-flying attack to excite the crowd before the excitement was transferred to heat on Bray for picking up the win.
Ringside: Phillips and Saxton were shown sitting in the dark after the Wyatts's video cut-out played. Phillips fed to a video package on Lita's Hall of Fame announcement on Raw. Plenty of Jim Ross commentary. Following the video, WWE showed a clip of Triple H's weekly sit-down interview announcing the Hall of Fame ceremony will air on WWE Network.
In-ring: Natalya was introduced to the ring for Divas action.
[Commercial Break]
2 -- NATALYA vs. AKSANA (w/Alicia Fox)
Aksana was introduced on the other side of the break, but told Alicia Fox to hang back and let her face Natalya one-on-one. Aksana confidently controlled early on, but Natalya made her comeback. Natalya wanted the Sharpshooter, but Aksana actually countered into a roll-up for a two count.
Aksana resumed control with a spinebuster, but Natalya escaped a pin attempt. Aksana, frustrated, went for a follow-up, but Natalya blocked and flowed into the Sharpshooter. It was good for a tap-out and celebration with the front row.
WINNER: Natalya via submission at 6:45. A chance for the announcers to focus on the Divas division, which currently does not have a challenger to A.J. Lee following Naomi's eye injury.
[Commercial Break]
Raw Rebound: Betty White hi-jinks on Raw.
In-ring: IC champion Big E. Langston was introduced for the main event. Chimel introduced the champ as simply "Big E.," which is what the lower-third graphic also displayed. But, the weight plate on his Titantron video still shows "Big E. Langston."
[Commercial Break]
In-ring: 3MB's Drew McIntyre was introduced for singles action against Langston, following up on the exchange a few weeks ago when McIntyre really fired up Langston in a multi-man tag match.
3 -- IC champion BIG E. vs. DREW MCINTYRE (w/Jinder Mahal) -- non-title match
Langston dominated early on, backing Mac into the corner. Of note, the announcers described John Cena vs. Randy Orton "The Final Chapter" on Raw. That's a tough sell to the audience considering the match received less than a week of hype and WWE has a penchant for forgetting history. Meanwhile, Byron Saxton said Heath Slater is not ringside to try to find a different way to motivate 3MB.
McInytre then did the spot from a few weeks ago trying to get under Big E.'s skin, which fired up Langston. But, Mac delivered a boot to the face from the ring apron to block the champ's momentum. Mac then uncharacteristically came off the top with a big clothesline to take control heading to break.
[Commercial Break]
Main Event continued with Mac still controlling the action. McIntyre worked on Langston's shoulder as the announcers said Mac could get a title shot down the line if he gets this win. That didn't work out too well for Kofi Kingston, who pinned Randy Orton a few weeks ago, but hasn't picked up a WWE Title shot.
Langston made a comeback with a clothesline, then belly-to-belly suplex. Big E. ran the ropes and delivered a big splash, then called for the end, but Drew clutched the ropes to throw off Langston. Drew then smashed Langston in the face with a big boot, but Big E. kicked out of a pin attempt. Mac, a bit too self-satisfied, taunted Big E. with some gyrations, firing up Big E. to catch him with the Big Ending for the pin and the win.
WINNER: Langston at 11:40. This is a really good match-up, as McIntyre brings a different feel to the ring that separates him from the lower-card heels on the roster.
Post-match: Jinder Mahal shouted at Langston that his night is far from over. Mahal said if you mess with one member of the band, you mess with everyone. So, Mahal hit the ring and the bell sounded.
4 -- IC champion BIG E. vs. JINDER MAHAL (w/Drew McIntyre) -- non-title match
Mahal tried to attack Langston after the challenge was non-verbally accepted, but Langston smashed him with his chest. Big E. followed with another Big Ending for the pin and the win. Main Event signed off with the IC champ standing tall.
WINNER: Langston at 0:37. Good showcase for the IC champ this week. He's still developing in the ring, but the crowd is getting behind his signature offense.
