-Main Event music video, no WWE open this week. The wrestlers in the opening sequence is depressing compared to the quality of the wrestlers that actually appear on the show. No pyro this week, either.
-Divas champion A.J. Lee makes her way to the ring accompanied by Tamina. Josh welcomes everyone to Main Event and introduces Alex Riley as his co-host. Clips as to how Natalya earned her title shot are shown, Nattie then makes her way out.
1 - Divas champion A.J. LEE (w/Tamina) vs. NATALYA – Divas Title match
When this match was announced last Monday on Raw, I sadly thought to myself that it has now become a 50/50 shot that advertised matches actually take place. I was always taught that when you advertise something, follow through with it. Early on, Alex Riley and Josh Mathews compare Natalya to Jennifer Lawrence from "Hunger Games" - dangerous, but beautiful.
The girls trade roll-up attempts, then Natalya shows off that she is more powerful than A.J. Scoop slam by Natalya, then she backs A.J. into the corner and stomps away on her until the referee calls for a break. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter at 2:45, but A.J. breaks free and rolls to the floor to catch her breath. Natalya chases outside and runs into Tamina, but Natalya whips A.J. into the barricade and rolls her into the ring. Nattie goes to the middle rope, but A.J. sweeps her legs out from under her and Natalya crashes to the mat hard, then rolls to the floor as Main Event cuts to commercial!

A.J. has Natalya in a resthold when Main Event comes back. Natalya breaks free, but runs into a spinheel kick. A.J. tosses Natalya back to the floor and distracts the referee while Tamina puts the boots to her. A.J. fetches her prey and brings her back into the ring, where Natalya kicks out of a pin attempt. A.J. plays to the crowd and gives Natalya an opportunity to come back.
Both women reset at 9:00. A.J. goes for the Black Widow, but Natalya shrugs her off and hits her with a snap suplex! Odd move where Natalya spun around two or three times, then ran into A.J. It looked like they bumped into each other! Nattie tries the Sharpshooter and gets it, A.J. crawls for the ropes and almost gets it, Natalya pulls her back to the center of the ring, and Alex Riley declares Nattie the new champion, which prompts Tamina to run in and kick Natalya’s head off, causing the DQ.
WINNER: Natalya by DQ in 11:10.
[Q2]
-Post match, A.J. puts Natalya in the Black Widow anyways as the referee has trouble pulling the 105-pound A.J. off her. A.J. then releases the hold when she is satisfied.
Mike's Reax: Nice to see the women get some time to put a match on and have the Divas Title spotlighted (even if it was on Main Event!). I thought this was a decent match between the women and going 11:00 is the equivalent of an Iron Man Match for how much time WWE typically gives the women's wrestlers, but they kept the match going. I’d like to see the Divas get more opportunities like this; it was a nice change of pace!

-Raw Rebound featuring Randy Orton and Big Show's kerfluffle from last Monday. These days, the way that Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox act have me confused as to whether they are heels or faces. On Raw, Orton had to face the tag champions in a handicap match, which made me think they are faces and punishing him, then Cena faced the Real Americans and I think they might be heel.
-Backstage, Natalya is crying. Tyson Kidd is acting aloof and has no idea what to say to her, so I think I might be watching Total Divas. The similarities between their reality TV characters and sports entertainment characters are astounding! I wonder if Total Divas is technically sports entertainment…

-This week, Michael Cole sat down with Director of Operations, Kane, instead of Triple H for the weekly interview. Kane claims to have always been in control of the monster within him and he will keep that tool at bay for now, but when he needs to, he will unleash the beast. Kane says he is evolving and more dangerous than ever. That said, this Monday is Raw Country, so I have no choice but to believe Kane!
-Tyson Kidd is out for action. Josh notes his marriage to Natalya while he was sidelined with injury.
[Q3]
-Tyson Kidd’s former tag partner, Justin Gabriel, is out, and they will face off on Main Event!
2 - JUSTIN GABRIEL vs. TYSON KIDD
Kidd and Gabriel do a sequence where they trade armbars and flip and flop all over the ring. Armdrags by Kidd, then he does the Owen Hart move where he is in a armbar, then jumps to the top rope and uses the ropes to flip out of it. Both men fall to the outside. Gabriel whips Kidd into the stairs, then Kidd jumps the steps and Gabriel dives over them with a flying clothesline!
Back in the ring, Gabriel comes in with a springboard cross-body for a two count, then puts Kidd in a resthold! Gabriel whips Tyson into the ropes, but is caught with his head down and it gets kicked! Low dropkick by Tyson Kidd almost knocks Gabriel out! Both men counter overhead suplexes by landing on their feet as a game of one-upsmanship, Gabriel eventually holds onto Kidd and gives him a German suplex.
Back heel trip by Justin Gabriel, then he goes up top for the 450 Splash, but Tyson knocks Justin off balance before he can jump. Both men battle on the top turnbuckle. Kidd tries a top rope huracanrana, but Gabriel reverses into a sunset flip and gets a quick pin on Kidd!
WINNER: Justin Gabriel by pinfall in 6:10.
-Post match, Tyson Kidd sells frustration at losing and looks mad, but eventually shakes Gabriel's hand.
Mike's Reax: That was six minutes of non-stop action! Fast paced and beautifully-executed match full of athleticism and reversals. It is good to see Kidd back. He has the tools and in-ring skill to be a player in WWE today, but I don’t know about his promos. I hope he gets an opportunity to shine in the near future.

-Raw Rebound part deux - John Cena taking on the Real Americans and the attack by Alberto Del Rio afterwards. Del Rio put him in the Cross Arm-breaker and Cena made it look as painful as relaxing on the couch! This Friday on Smackdown, an Arm Wrestling Challenge has been announced. Aye, aye, aye!
[Q4]
-The Prime Time Players and R-Truth make their way to the ring. They face the Union Jacks, next!
(Commercial)
-C.M. Punk and Daniel Bryan versus Luke Harper and Erick Rowan has been made official for Survivor Series.
3 - PRIME TIME PLAYERS (w/R-Truth) vs. UNION JACKS (w/Jinder Mahal)
"3MB" chant from the crowd to start. For some reason, wearing British flags gets you over in England. Overhead suplex by Darren Young on Drew McIntyre, then Young tags in Titus, who slams Drew hard! Shoulder tackle by Titus, who then drapes Drew on the top turnbuckle and unloads a flurry of right hands across his chest! Darren is tagged back in and Titus slams Young on top of Drew!
Heath Slater is blind-tagged in and Young fends off both members of the Union Jacks, but the third member cheap-shots him from outside the ring. Young is sent to the outside and he is whipped into the steps, then rolled back into the ring. Slater plays air guitar for the crowd and tags Drew McIntyre back in. Darren Young tries to tag in his partner, but Drew gets between them and ends up eating a dropkick from Young!
Heath is tagged back in and Darren Young gets double-suplexed for a two count. Jinder is doing a stellar job standing on the outside yelling instructions like “team work” at his fellow bandmates. Young fights off both heels in the corner and then mad dashes for his corner, but is cut off again, this time by Heath Slater.
Young eventually makes the hot tag. Titus destroys Drew, who was also tagged in. Fallaway slam by Titus doesn’t put Drew away, then Young comes in to help his tag partner, but is sent packing. Titus gets distracted by Truth and Jinder fighting on the outside. Back in the ring, Drew gives Titus a Future Shock DDT, then tags in Heath Slater, who puts O’Neil away after a corkscrew plancha.
WINNERS: Union Jacks by pinfall in 6:48.
