[Q1]
-Main Event opening video followed by full pyro in the arena.
-Michael Cole and JBL are in the middle of the ring to start the show, and JBL says that for one more night he is carrying Michael Cole. Cole declares that tonight is Main Event history as John Cena will compete for the first time tonight. They throw to an inside look at John Cena.
-A video showing John Cena as a boy pretending to wrestle is shown (Don’t Try This at Home!) as his mom does a voice-over saying that when he was little he always wanted to be a pro-wres…err she means a sports entertainer. Then they go to clips of Cena showing up on various talk shows, TV shows, and commercials. The video also plays up the work he does with charity and ends with in the ring.
-Back live, Cole and JBL talk about how Sandow is a future champion and a bright future ahead of him. They then throw to the highlight reel of Damien Sandow.
-Quotes from Sandow talking down to the fans and various wrestlers is shown along with some of his greatest hits in the ring. The video ends with the audio of Sandow’s promo from last week played over highlights from his career.
-Cody Rhodes sent out a Tout today where he wishes Damien Sandow luck in all his future singles competition endeavors. Cody notes that he can’t wait to return and get Rhodes Scholars going again.
-John Cena makes his ring entrance, and he says to the camera that he is glad to finally be a part of Main Event. Michael Cole says that he spoke with Cena earlier today and that Cena is jacked to be part of Main Event tonight. Cole then notes that The Miz isn’t on Main Event this week because he is overseas as part of a goodwill tour that WWE is putting on currently.
-Damien Sandow makes his way to the ring. He cuts a promo quoting Socarates: “The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance.” Sandow calls Cena a false idol and his stranglehold of ignorance on the audience is about to come to a just and swift end. He tells him “you’re welcome” as the match gets underway.
1 - JOHN CENA vs. DAMIEN SANDOW
Collar and elbow tie-up to start. Sandow puts Cena in a side headlock, Cena reverses into one of his own, and Sandow quickly makes his way to the ropes. The crowd is firmly behind Cena tonight and Sandow rolls to the outside to think things over. John chases Damien out and Damien rolls back into the ring. Cena enters the ring and they reset; Cena works the left arm of Sandow and armdrags him from one side of the ring to the other. Sandow ties himself up in the ropes and calls a timeout. Running bulldog by Cena gets a two count on the Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses. Cena whips Sandow into the ropes and puts his head down, Sandow kicks him in the face and then put the boots to Cena as Main Event takes it first break 3:10 into the match.

[Q2] Back on Main Event, Sandow does a cartwheel that Michael Cole, the babyface announcer, loves, and JBL, the antagonist color commentator, hates. Cole plugs the “JBL and Cole Show” on WWE.com this Friday, with John Cena as the first guest. Damien continues to put the boots to Cena, he nails him with a side Russian legsweep followed by the elbow of disdain. Back to the rear chinlock by Sandow as the crowd chants Cena’s name. Cena fights out and then misses a flying shoulder tackle and rolls to the floor. Sandow counts along with the referee and yells at Cena to stay down.
Cena hangs Sandow up on the top rope when he re-enters the ring, but Sandow pops up and explodes out of nowhere with a clothesline. Rear chinlock. Again. Cena counters into a STF, but Sandow kicks him off and both men are down in the middle of the ring. Both men slug it out, Sandow holds his own for a hot second, but Cena has him rocking and rolling. Sandow drop toe holds Cena onto the middle rope as Main Event takes another break 11:20 into the action!

Cena has rubber legs when Main Event returns. Sandow knocks Cena back into the ropes and Cena gets tied up ala Andre the Giant. The ref lets this go and Sandow takes advantage by beating the hell out of him. Cena breaks free and he is fired up going at Sandow, they roll to the outside and Cena whips Sandow into the steps, but Damien reverses and sends Cena shoulder-first into the steel steps.
Back in the ring, Sandow goes for a pin, but Cena kicks out at two. JBL notes that careers have been made fighting John Cena and losing, imagine when someone actually beats him what it could do to their career. Another cartwheel from Sandow, he then pulls his kneepad down and drops the point of the knee onto Cenas forehead. Cena fights out of a submission move and back body drops Sandow, Cena tries a charge in the corner, but runs into Sandow's elbow.
Sandow misses a knee drop, Cena takes Sandow down with a series of shoulder tackles. Suplex by Cena into the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Attitude Adjustment gets countered by Sandow and he goes for the Hangman's Neckbreaker, but Cena powers out and floats into the STF! Sandow immediately taps out, almost before the hold was even locked on.
WINNER: John Cena via submission in 19:29.
Mike’s Reax: While I wasn’t a fan of the over-abundance of chinlocks, the crowd got into the match each time one was put on and they loudly cheered for Cena to fight out. The commentary of JBL immensely helped this match as he kept pointing out how Sandow was using his intellect to outsmart Cena and keep him down. Sandow looked really good tonight against the top guy in the company. It should also be noted that Sandow played such a strong heel that he was able to let Cena play that uber babyface that the crowd rallies behind. There weren’t any “Let’s Go Cena/Cena sucks!” chants tonight and I think Sandow was the reason.
[Q3]
-Damien Sandow will speak and Antonio Cesaro will be in action, next!
(Commercial)
-Did You Know: In the last 25 years, WWE Superstars have granted over 5,000 wishes! Amazing!
-Raw recap featuring C.M. Punk vs. Kane and the beat down of Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback by The Shield that followed. Are they affiliated with Punk?
-C.M. Punk will take on Ryback in a TLC match at the TLC pay-per-view. At ringside, Cole and JBL discuss Vickie caving and giving Ryback what he wanted last Monday on Raw. They then replay the end of the previous match and go backstage where Josh Mathews is with Sandow.
-Backstage, Josh Mathews isn’t with Sandow, instead he will read a letter written by Sandow. The letter reads that the person reading this letter doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air as Damien Sandow. The letter also says that the end of Cena’s reign of ignorance has been put on hold and his day will come.
-Antonio Cesaro makes his way to the ring. Michael Cole throws to a highlight package of Antonio Cesaro and what he is all about. His deceptive power is highlighted as he hits him finisher on much bigger men. The video was short and sweet, but to the point.
-Cesaro is in action, next!

[Q4]
-Zack Ryder makes his way to the ring, he is going against/being fed to Cesaro tonight.
2 - U.S. Champion ANTONIO CESARO vs. ZACK RYDER – non-title match
Cesaro controls things to start with a headlock takeover. Cesaro blocks an armdrag, but gets rolled up by Ryder. Antonio reverses into a cradle of his own. In the corner, Cesaro unloads on Ryder, then he almost knocks him out with a vicious running uppercut! European uppercut to the back of the head by Cesaro. Dropkick by Ryder sends Antonio to the floor, then Ryder baseball slides him to the barricade. Ryder tries roling Cesaro into the ring, but Cesaro kicks Ryder in the face when Ryder tries getting into the ring. Antonio runs Ryder into the turnbuckle, he falls to the floor and Main Event goes to a commercial break.
(Commercial)
During the break, Cesaro ran Ryder back first into the steel post. Live, Cesaro nails Ryder with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Running kick to the back by Cesaro, he then gut wrench suplexes Ryder and puts him in a sleeper. Ryder comes out of nowhere with a clothesline, Antonio runs into the knees of Ryder. Ryder keeps the pressure on with a missile dropkick; he tries the Broski Boot, but Cesaro rolls to the floor. Ryder tries a pescado, but Cesaro hits him mid-air with a uppercut! That looked awesome! Back in the ring, Cesaro puts Ryder away with the Neutralizer!
WINNER: Antonio Cesaro by pinfall in 8:47.
-Antonio Cesaro has a microphone and he says that Zack Ryder represents everything that is wrong with this country – fist-pumping, hair-styling, fake-tanning, and Internet-starring. Cesaro looks around at the crowd and he is disgusted by the people and he hates this part of the country. He says that even though he is the champion of an inferior country, he is a superior champion and the greatest champion in the WWE
-IC champion Kofi Kingston interrupts and he takes offense to Cesaro saying he is the greatest. Kofi wants to test that claim so he challenges Antonio Cesaro to a match next week to see who is the better champion. Cesaro nods his head to imply that he is down.
