- Big Show was held off Monday's Raw because of a lingering knee injury, according to the Wrestling Observer. WWE reportedly wants to set up a feud for Show leading into Summerslam, but his physical condition is an issue.
- WWE announcer Jim Ross published a new blog Tuesday at jrsbarbq.com discussing Monday's Raw, praising C.M. Punk on the mic and Daniel Bryan in the ring, responding to the Texas Longhorns fans at Raw in Austin, and discussing when the right time is for a talent to be called up to the main roster. This was in relation to a previous post about popular NXT Diva Paige, 20, perhaps being too young to be called up.

- Promoting his comedy tour, WWE part-timer Mick Foley talked about "semi-retiring" from in-ring action as part of an in-depth interview on life after pro wrestling.

Foley quote to the New Times (Florida) newspaper: "There's only so much punishment a human body can take. A lot of it wasn't necessarily hardcore matches. It was just a very physically demanding style. My knees became arthritic very early because of that punishing style."

- WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus reacted to the bankruptcy of Robert Kennedy Publishing, which published several magazines with Trish on the cover, which helped Trish get noticed by WWE.

Trish Quote: "With the sad news of the publication shutting down, I'm glad to have the chance to chat about this amazing brand, and the man behind it - Robert Kennedy. I've always said that everything that has happened for me professionally is interlinked, and that chain began because of one man."
