WWE World Hvt. champion Chris Jericho showed off his trademark showmanship as an entertainer during a three-segment appearance on the "Lopez Tonight" show earlier tonight on TBS.

Jericho was on the show to promote WrestleMania and also to "expunge from the record books" David Arquette's infamous WCW World Hvt. Title victory. Arquette was the featured guest on the show and Jericho interrupted when host George Lopez brought up Arquette's WCW Title reign.

"After ten years, it's time once and for all to erase Arquette's name from the championship record book," Jericho said. Lopez stood in-between them as they pretended to set up a fight, which led into a commercial break.

Back from break, Arquette was dressed in a ridiculous wrestling outfit that he joked he bought on Ebay from "Macho Man" Randy Savage. The bit proceeded with Lopez saying they would settle the issue like men in a...Karaoke contest.

The song was the classic high-school dance song "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" by Bonnie Tyler with Jericho completely owning Arquette in the singing and showmanship department. Jericho crooned like an "American Idol" audition with the crowd swaying and the girls in the audience cheering at him. Lopez then declared Jericho the official winner and presented him with a Karaoke title belt.

After another commercial break, Lopez gave Jericho a formal intro to bring him on the show as the second official guest after footage of Jericho on WWE Smackdown played.

The discussion initially focused on Jericho's "Fozzy" band, their new album, "Chasing the Grail," and upcoming world tour dates.

The wrestling discussion then turned to Jericho's humble beginnings in Canada where his grandmother hated the heels, which he said has obviously made his grandmother happy lately with him playing a heel on WWE TV now.

Jericho talked about getting work wherever he could starting as a wrestler in Canada, including working a kid's birthday party where he was paid with a "hot dog and a glass of OJ."

Lopez, who regularly talks up Lucha Libre on his talk show, referenced Jericho working in Mexico as "Corazon De Leon" - Lionheart. They showed an old-school Jericho photo from Mexico with the classic wrestler pose before Jericho recalled a few stories from Mexico.

Jericho talked about walking to the ring in Acapulco and being hit with cup of pee. "Someone took the time to pee in a cup, carry it back to the stands, and launch it," Jericho said. He said the fans also chanted "Corazon De Pollo!" He then referenced losing his virginity to a beer model and finishing in eight seconds. "Now I can last 23 seconds," Jericho quipped.

The interview concluded with Lopez plugging WrestleMania and Jericho heading to Phoenix after the interview with one final plug for "Corazon De Leon" Chris Jericho.
