WWE announcer Jim Ross added more color today on his comment last night about not expecting to be back in a full-time announce position on WWE TV. Ross said he expects to be at WrestleMania 26, but he's waiting for WWE to make a decision on whether to utilize him on the PPV and beyond.

"I do not perceive this development to likely not return to weekly TV broadcasting to be a negative one as a new schedule simply makes it easier on me travel wise and will hopefully help me keep lingering health issues in check," Ross said on his latest blog today on jrsbarbq.com.

"My goal is and has always been to help 'the team' which means WWE as a whole. ... Those plans are still being formulated but I am on board, in theory, and look forward to new responsibilities and challenges."

Ross said he'll be on stand-by when WWE decides the announce team situation for WrestleMania and he would like to call one or two matches. And we can all say with 100 percent certainty that one of those matches is The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels. And if Bret Hart has his way, Hart vs. Vince McMahon.

"I have every intention of being at WM26 and if that is to simply spend time with my wife and friends and enjoy the weekend as a fan then I'm perfectly fine with that," Ross said. "However, and perhaps egocentrically, I will say that if called upon to broadcast a match or two I intend on kicking some commentating ass. I'm just saying."

Ross also talked about Steve Austin's promotional tour for "Damage" and tag team legend Dennis Condrey being hired by FCW to work with developmental talent.
