PWTORCH YEAR-END VOTING 2008 - Vote on Match of the Year (WWE, TNA, ROH) Jan 8, 2009 - 2:44:05 PM
We're setting up a mini-tournament of sorts where Torch readers can vote for each of the WWE, TNA, and ROH match of the year candidates, then we'll take the three winners and set up a triple threat match voting to determine the ultimate 2008 Match of the Year, as selected by the Torch readers.
WWE Match of the Year: Read through the list completely before voting. For ideas or arguments from fellow Torch readers, check out the WWE Nominations page.

I found the WWE match of the year poll a difficult one in which to choose a
winner... so many very good matches.

Man, how can you include the Edge vs. Taker WrestleMania match instead of
the One Night Stand match, which in my opinion is the best in their series
of matches? Seriously.

Seeing as how the readers of the site did the nominations its hard to be
upset about the selections. The WWE match of the year was a really tough
one. For all the complaining that floats around, this really was a
tremendous year in wrestling. I mean this in terms of quality matches and
creative. The creative had its misses this year, but they took more
chances this with outside the box ideas than any other year since the
attitude era. That's a good thing in my book. 2009 could be better still.
