WWE Fast Lane PPV Reax

-- Derrick Hubbard (6.0): Best Match: Bryan vs. Reigns. Worst Match: Goldust vs. Stardust. From my perspective, slight thumbs up. My preconceived belief is that it is the job of the wrestlers to force the crowd to react. With that said, this crowd was stubbornly silent. Were they bored? confused? comatose? I cannot diagnose, but the lack of reaction hurt the overall presentation of the show. To sum the show up - decent to good wrestling action, intriguing storyline developments, some really unimaginative finishes, and a dead crowd. The big task for WrestleMania is to build Roman Reigns as a credible challenger for Brock Lesnar. The big question for WrestleMania is where does this leave Daniel Bryan?

-- Jeremy Quist of Ripplemead, Va. (7.0): Best Match: Bryan-Reigns. Worst Match: The Divas. Vince McMahon clearly is in love with big muscular types and doesn't think much of great wrestlers. I was a fool last month and I was a fool tonight to think that the best wrestler in the company, who the majority of fans are cheering for, would go over. Bryan now likely faces Dolph Ziggler, who lost to Kane tonight. I will pretend in my mind that they are wrestling for the title because the storyline is that Bryan can no longer win when it counts and Dolph cannot win... ever.

Sting was good for what they gave him to do. I hate silent Sting, and believe that Steve is great on the stick when motivated... Wyatt has become quite boring in his promos, but his entrance was fantastic and of course I am looking forward to the match with Undertaker... Cena and Rusev started at a snail's pace, but picked it up as the match went along. John does call his spots in obnoxious fashion... Ambrose and Barrett seemed to hold back more than anyone, but maybe my standards for those two are higher than they should be... I pull for Cody Rhodes, but this Stardust gimmick is just plain awful... I would have enjoyed a more creative way to bring Randy Orton back and set up his match with Seth Rollins... I am very happy for Tyson Kidd. It took too long for him to be taken seriously... Sandow may have received the largest pop of the night on the pre-show. Memphis was a poor crowd, but they sure loved Mizdow. I suppose it will be Miz vs. Mizdow at Mania, but I have little hope that Mizdow won't be ignored after that one win... In conclusion, that smirk that Roman Reigns gave after the match with his head down made me sick! Is this guy supposed to be a heel? He does a fantastic job making me loathe him. I am disgusted at Vince's treatment of Daniel Bryan, but Vince gets to do whatever he wants because the WWE Network is the best deal in the world. I will now wash away my sorrows with some Nitro.

-- Chris in Las Vegas: Best: none. Worst: everything. The state of WWE is terrible. All tonight offered was a preview of how bad WrestleMania is going to be. The only good thing about WrestleMania is it will only cost me ten bucks instead of a full PPV price. In fact, WWE should give the Network for free in March, too, because this is not good. Thank goodness there is NXT to watch; so much better than main roster TV.
