QUESTION OF THE DAY: Assuming you watch WWE PPVs on the Network now, do you feel less upset when there is a non-finish/screwy finish to a big match/PPV main event? Or, do you still feel upset no matter how much you're paying compared to the previous PPV price?

- BOBBY REPLIES: I personally think the price drop helps with screwy finishes. But, even when I was paying for PPV, it's always about the follow-up. The supernatural stuff in 2014 might make some people groan but it at least separates Bray from every other wrestler. To me the biggest issue in WWE right now is that most wrestlers look and act the same. So, I enjoyed Monday night's angle, but I wanted to see the follow-up on Raw treated like a huge deal.

- R JACK REPLIES: I can understand a DQ finish to end a PPV. But, to have a DQ/screwy finish in back-to-back PPVs is not acceptable. This is on top of Raw having a DQ finish to close off the show week after week. When the lights in the arena went off, so did my television, and any hope of a member of The Authority getting their comeuppance. Even when they lose (DQ), they win.

- BRIAN IN CLEVELAND REPLIES: I believe that is what WWE is thinking. It is almost getting close to the old TNA style of PPVs where their finishes were building to TV, rather that TV building to PPV. I let my subscription expire after Summerslam and I didn't get Night of Champions. The night after NOC, Raw had I believe at least 3-4 re-matches from NOC!

As for Hell in a Cell, my 10-year-old son and I really wanted to see what we assumed was the blow-off/finale to the Rollins-Ambrose feud. So, after the 4:00 p.m. EST NFL games, I renewed my subscription for another six months. I strongly debated just doing the one month $12.99 option, figuring Survivor Series and TLC aren't likely to mean much this year with the WWE champion going to somewhat of a UFC champ schedule of only defending every 3-4 months. So, we figured one of the HIAC matches would have the tradition of someone getting in the cage, but I'm not sure why they did this. I guess they could have had Cena vs. Orton go on last, and Rollins somehow gets in to screw Orton out of getting a title shot. But, I think that would have sucked, too, though.

So, the short answer is, of course, they are taking full advantage of feeling they don't have to deliver a $49.99-59.99 finish when the majority of viewers are only invested at $9.99. Unfortunately, as I've seen locally with the TLC ticket prices, the in-building PPV crowd is getting hit the hardest. Yes, the guy ringside that wore the Orton Halloween costume from Party City was in a $500 seat and the guys in the floor seats dressed as Bray Wyatt & Mankind were in $350 seats.
