-- 2/25 TNA Impact Reax

Mike of Detroit, Mich. (4.0): Where can you begin with the problems of this show, of this entire product as a whole; can a list even be made long enough? Is it the lack of wrestling the show, the Samoa Joe storyline problems, the terrible match from the Nasty Boys and Team 3D, the mess of a promo by Ric Flair, the never-ending Foley/Bischoff storyline to nowhere, or maybe the Jeff Jarrett one going the same direction? Let's take the start of the show. I missed the beginning because 1993 had called and was asking me if I knew where Brian Knobs and Jerry Sags were. I said they were in TNA wrestling right now. Surprised and perplexed, 1993 said back to me it was still calling to collect that dime they owed them. I replied back that they had never drawn a dime, 1993 said, "I know, it was on loan."

Brad of Missouri (5.0): This was clearly a transitional show with the Tag Titles & Global Titles finally getting some attention. I really enjoyed Anderson/Hemme, Bischoff's incredible character, and more Daffney. Elsewhere, there's an X Division focused pay-per-view around the corner, right?! As I told Bischoff on his Facebook where he is begging for feedback, Team 3D vs. Nasty Boys, again? Two negatives do not make a positive. March 8 is definitely not a Raw night for me, though, especially with their C-Level celeb of the week.

Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (1.0): Best: Tara promo, Beer Money promo. Worst: Nastys vs. 3D, what's coming March 8. No matter what I say here about what happened on the show, it's all about March 8. Lockdown is being plugged, but that's in April, right? Isn't there a March PPV that should be in the vocabulary along with the Monday move? Just because Abyss is wearing Hogan's HOF ring does not mean he has to come out to something resembling Hogan's music. Daffney as a full-out psycho heel works; Morgan trying to make me believe he isn't turning soon doesn't. Also not working is TNA doing the inverse of the Shawn Michaels summer story. And one scene has Jarrett apparently cutting his finger and not taking care of it. Both stories were/are in bad form. If TNA can barely trust Rob Terry with a simple move, then why in the blue hell is he wearing a title belt? If Ric Flair is wearing the boots come March 8, is this another sign Shawn is retiring? And how can a crowd come unhinged at the idea of a broken down Hogan getting in the ring again? Then again, this crowd's memory apparently is forgetting that Ric lost a retirement match two years ago. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and Hogan guns for the title. It's all but on the wall now. It's just a matter of when.
