WWE Raw Reax #3: "Is anyone looking forward to seeing DX on both shows after they win the tag belts?"

-- 11/30 WWE Raw Reax

Shawn Stadtler of Richmond, Va. (4.0): Best Match: Kingston vs. Orton. Worst Match: Mark Henry Rap. Was anyone else crossing their fingers in hope that Raw would open with McMahon at the announce booth? I can't understand how the announce team of Cole/Lawler has not been broken up. They have no enthusiasm or chemistry and it shows big time. This Raw really disappointed me following last week's strong show. If you don't have any ideas for your guest host, don't come up with horrible ones and focus the whole show around them! I bet Verne Troyer really boosted the ratings. On a positive note, there's a new guy in the WWE Title picture that's not one of the usual suspects. Go back and watch the segment where Sheamus attacks Santino and imagine Vince McMahon on commentary. Sheamus would have been elevated even further with a good announce team behind him. I hope they keep Sheamus and Cena away from each other physically until TLC. Anyone looking forward to seeing DX on both shows after they win the tag belts? One positive that could come out of it would be a tag title feud with the Hart Dynasty.

-- 11/27 WWE Smackdown Reax

Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (7.0): Best: Jericho vs. Undertaker. Worst: WWE not doing their homework. I would have loved this episode more if I didn't find myself shouting at the TV for the lack of fact-checking. Jericho's promo was delivered with the usual wellness, but I can't help but laugh at how he trashes DX for its catchphrases yet consistently injects his "I'm the best in the world..." line. Pot calling the kettle on that one, eh? While it wasn't specifically called a TLC match, Shawn and Triple H's Armageddon 2002 Three Stages Of Hell did incorporate those three elements. JeriShow and DX are gunning it out for the titles come TLC (so far looking like a DX win with Show's knee injury in the mix). So, if DX will be able to appear on Smackdown, and if the Harts and Cryme Tyme are constantly matching up, why not create some purpose out of it and make a #1 Contender's match? ... Punk brings back the former Festus as someone saved by Punk's influence. Matt Hardy yet again gets into Punk's face about trashing Jeff in the process. All this is fine and good, and some nice things could come this development with the new Luke Gallows. But why is Matt Hardy constantly put in the role as Brother's Keeper? It's as bad, if not worse, than Rey bringing up Eddie Guerrero as often as he does. Meanwhile, the last time someone was brought in as a protege of someone's influence (Lance Cade for Jericho), he was released. This does not bode well for the former Festus. Vickie dumping Eric Escobar before Eric really takes off is symbolic to the fact that Eric just isn't really catching on. It will be intriguing to see how an Undertaker-Batista match will play out with Batista as a clear heel, but shouldn't Smackdown be doing what Raw at least tried to do on Monday and give someone new a chance? I will never agree with Sheamus being elevated into the role, but at least some effort was made.
