Raw Reax #3: "We, as viewers, are being treated like fools and clowns" Sep 29, 2009 - 11:13:28 AM
Chad Holdren of South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Best Match: Cowboys vs. Carolina. Worst Match: Cowboys vs. Carolina. So I recorded Raw because I thought it might be ground-breaking thinking that they had a guest-hosting figure that actually had some REAL power so that Raw would be not worth missing. Boy, was I wrong. The only thing that even stood out was the fact that the WWE has shown us all once again that their booking is beyond horrible. I wonder if the higher-ups even read feedback and I also wonder if Raw has become another version of WWF Wrestling Challenge. Raw has become something that I can't even stand to watch anymore. It has become like WCW Thunder was. No matter how you look at it, Raw is the number two show WWE has and it's simply because of their stupid guest host gimmick. I have been watching wrestling since I was two-years-old. It has been a mainstay in my life as long as I can remember, but isn't enough enough already? We are being treated like fools and clowns...and if you can't see that then you are under the age of 17 and you just don't remember the good times of professional wrestling where titles actually meant something and personas were actually meant to have a lasting effect in the crazy world of wrestling. This is sad and it's a shame that we all tune into Raw to watch this horrible garbage that they feed us. I regret the decision to even stay up until 1:45 a.m. and now I lost two hours of sleep. Thank you WWE for letting us all know once again that whoever is writing Raw needs to go back to school. Maybe watching an episode of WWE Raw circa 2002 might change what you jokers are doing...Sad, REALLY sad.
A.A. Norman of Tulsa, Okla. (0.0): I did not tune in last night because of the poor choice in guest-hosting. Al Sharpton will do anything to get on television and when he does, I will not grant him an audience, regardless of what show he is on. However, WWE should look forward to a huge change in ratings from this week to next week with a much better choice in guest host with the Steelers's Big Ben. I realize that not every week can have a big-name host like Bob Barker or Shaq or Money Mayweather, but that is no excuse for choosing Al Sharpton. I am quite certain the television ratings will reflect this bad decision.
