Mike Omansky, Torch reader (7.0): Very strong Raw, one of the best of the year. The tournament matches were quite good. Michaels-Kane was a strong opener, we then had the Michaels-Hunter initial confrontation over JBL, and employee Michaels helping JBL advance in the tournament. JBL-Mysterio was quite good, Orton did a good promo after the forfeit, and it was funny seeing fans boo C.M. Punk in what was another strong match. We had Manu to bring us down, but the brief Snuka (Deuce)/Orton discussion was good. Santino was excellent in the opener, and the mixed tag with Trish Stratus joining in was a fun "main event." Fun to see fans boo Cena even though Santino heavily insulted Canada. This Raw was pretty much on all cylinders -- more fun actually than the pay-per-view last week.

Elena Douglas of Dallas, Tex. (8.0): Best part: Trish Stratus return. Worst Part: Manu vs. Kofi. This Raw was really solid and nicely paced. HBK winning was no surprise, but not an exciting match. Manu vs. Kofi made no sense and had no background to it whatsoever, so it had no point of being on TV. The divas tag match was all right, but I expected Melina and Beth to have interaction if they're gonna have a title match. I thought JBL was going to lost to Rey and take HBK's spot away from him, so I was pleasantly surprised by what HBK did and it adds some good continuation to their story. Orton gave a great improved promo and the fans ate it up. I'm glad he went back in time because his elation at punting Batista was made that much more interesting. Punk and Jericho put on the best match of the night. Punk is an impressive individual has continuously put on some great matches and make me look forward to his match with Regal. Can we thank the wrestling gods for Trish Stratus?! Man she looked HOT! She also had no ring rust whatsoever. This woman needs to be an example to Divas and Knockouts about putting on a show. She hit her spots but made Beth look strong with all the offense she took from her. Beth still looked strong by not taking the pin, and came out looking good against someone of Trish's level. It was hilarious that even with Trish Stratus as his teammate, Cena was still heavily booed. He really needs to turn heel.
