Hank Schaller, Torch VIP member of Muskegon, Mich. (9.0): Best Match: All were good, but I would say the best was the main event except for the beat down in the cage after the bell. Worst match: Get rid of Sarah Palin. If TNA were to have done this Palin angle, it should have been during the election. It's ruining the Beautiful People's hold as among the most villainous divas in the promotion. Of course, part of the credit for this good episode of Impact must go to WCW, WWE, and ECW where the Main Event Mafia learned how to do effective promos.

Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (6.0): Best: Dutt vs. Sabin; Sting's turn progress. Worst: more "Palin" nonsense; Foley's turn progress. There really wasn't all that much wrong with this edition of TNA, but man it took me FOREVER to watch it. As much debate as there is to the particulars of the Michaels-JBL feud, I'm waiting to see the debate over the relevance of the Main Event Mafia-Front Line feud. It seems to have lost most of its focus. There is Kurt Angle, the group's leader (who is not the champion) still with tunnel vision eyes on Jeff Jarrett for a reason I'm sure he can't remember. There are Kevin Nash and Sting, the champion and the self-professed "old man," who actually remember why the sides are fighting, but Sting is on track to betray Nash or MEM in some way soon. Booker and Steiner are lost in the shuffle, and seem to be just heels under an umbrella. The Frontline seems more unified, but lacks credibility by the week with no sizable take-backs after beat downs. The two recent Rough Cuts gave us what made Beer Money sweet; the next editions should tell the sour story. The only problem with Shane Sewell's interview is that wrestlers aren't the only ones who get injured, and any wrestler would know that. Dutt vs. Sabin gave the crowd a fun match to get behind despite being heel vs. heel. The crowd chose Sabin as the face, and while the match exposed the choreography, it was a well-executed match. What needs to be executed (by firing squad) is "Palin," who continues to ruin the Beautiful People. Kip flat-out revealed Palin to be a phony, and Velvet and Angelina didn't want to hear it. Chumped out the Beautiful People, and for what? Nice little gimmick ruined by TNA creative. Unlike Sting, whose turn continues to be in cruise control and slowly moving along, Mick is practically telegraphing his. Maybe this means that "reverse wrestling psychology" kicks in and maybe Mick is playing another subversive, but I'm just not interested based on how it's being played out.
