Defending Triple H: PWTorch readers take issue with criticism of The King of Kings

I have been reading, for what seems like ages on end, all of the articles directed at Triple H. Each and every mark out there in the wrestling world loves to bash on Triple H and his "politics." Let's just break this down a bit, shall we? Of the three big returns lately, who has benefited the most? Let's begin with Rey Mysterio. Since returning, he has defeated Chavo Guerrero, his arch enemy, twice including an " I Quit" match. Then he bested Finlay and Batista in a big tournament to land him a title opportunity right away. So within a month, Rey was already a title contender.

Mind you, I understand that he lost the match, but he wasn't even pinned. So in my eyes, that is not a loss.

Then we have the umpteenth return of the bland Deadman, The Undertaker. Won't this guy ever go away? Upon his return, he squashed Mark Henry and already made the sign that he wants his title back. Not only did he defeat Henry, but he just had to have the main event spot on the card. There were three title matches on the show. We knew ECW wasn't going to get the top spot. But they had been building up Cena-Orton for a while and that match should have closed the show. Unfortunately, in the wrestling world, Vince doesn't like to send the fans home unhappy, so the ending of the match would have left a sour taste in their mouths. Therefore, they should have closed with Batista winning the World Title! The fans would have left in joyous spirits since their fan favourite had finally regained the title that rightfully belonged to him. Sadly, though, The Undertaker had his way once again and lobbied for the top spot. Who cares about his stupid,drawn-out returns anymore? Triple H's return at Summerslam was the third last match. So much for hogging the spotlight.

Finally, we get to Triple H. Like previously mentioned, his return at Summerslam was third on the card. He didn't take away from the two top championship matches. Also, since returning, Triple H has been feuding with mid-carders. The likes of King Booker, Carlito, and Umaga are not main event material. So if he has this amazing political power backstage, why is he wasting his time with these low mid-carders? Why hasn't Cena dropped the title to him yet? The answer to these questions is that Triple H is a patient man, who knows his opportunity for the gold will once again find its way back to him. He hasn't held Heavyweight gold since 2004, I believe. Wow, what a politician. Give me a break! He deserves the gold after waiting this long for it, so when he does regain his title, I will be exalting from the hilltops and laughing at you marks with your Rey masks and foam Undertaker tombstones. Go don a Rey mask and hide in an open grave because Triple H's time is coming since he is that damn good!

Hello, the TMZ Of Wrestling

I have never seen such a site that is full of biased, one-sided, and full of negativity and poor reporting then Protorch! I am anti-Torch now, I have been borderline this way ever since the Benoit situation began. Your site seemed to only be around when anything bad happened to the WWE business. In every reaction, column, or WWE event report, if it isn't John Cena or Marc Mero then your whole site goes anti-WE and anti-Shawn Michael's or primarily Triple H. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves to even post fans reactions that suggest and promote a push to wish quad injuries or for guys into earlier retirement. That is in regards to Mr. Prick Booka, who took his one ball and and went home instead of sucking up pride that he was WRONG in the SI story reported.

In reading your Raw thoughts, and feedbacks posted, I have to disagree big time on the Triple H comments. Without Triple H the past two weeks with the idiotic Hornswoggle storyline pieces, it would of been about three times worse. I can't imagine what we would of seen if it was just Vince and the midget running around. Vince has been obviously missing cue's left and right and flubbing his words, for Carlito's Cabana Hunter had to tell him to do his line. Hunter may be squashing the tag division, but is that the biggest worry going on in the WWE. Before this did anyone really care about the tag division, No! The people that care about the tag division care only when Triple H or DX beat them? London & Kendrick will never be a main event and I enjoy them but their careers aren't over after a squash on Raw, please nit-picking that is stupid.

I have to laugh because all of the critics and the Internet wanted Vince's son to be ha ha let'ss mock a little person, Hornswoggle to be the illegitimate child and now its already old. I knew it would fail and even if someone else besides Triple H going out there the crowd would of died, or maybe PAPA Cena can save the day since the Cena clan are all superhero's anyways. I don't understand that Triple H isn't in the title picture, he hasn't been in years, isn't touching Cena, won to a prick of guy Booka, and yet still he is the number one guy to knock. Thank God Shawn Michael's will be coming back soon he will blow Taker's return out of the water, How many returns has he had anyways.
