Update below after original report on Monday night

-- Jeff Hardy is confirmed to have signed a deal to work a regular TNA schedule. Torch editor Wade Keller said in his VIP-exclusive post-Impact Keller Hotline that Hardy told co-workers the TNA schedule fits his lifestyle better than WWE's grueling full-time schedule.

-- TNA wrestler Homicide said in an interview following Monday's TNA Impact that he expects to have a feud with Jeff Hardy, who made a surprise return during the first segment on Impact to deliver a chair shot and Twist of Fate to Homicide.

"Anything could change and I could do something else or Jeff could do something else at the TV tapings on Tuesday, and I think it would be a great match-up of Jeff Hardy vs. Homicide. I'm really hoping it will happen," Homicide said on the "Right After Wrestling" radio program on SIRIUS channel 98.

-- Hardy's return to cable TV on TNA Impact after leaving WWE in late August/early September 2009 generated press coverage from the Los Angeles Times. It's a strong "get" for TNA to receive mainstream press for one of their big surprise returns.

Update on Hardy's drug-charges:

-- Hardy's drug charges from September 11 are still lingering over Hardy's head, and Hardy will have to answer the charges after being indicted on Monday.

The North Carolina Court System removed Hardy's court date of January 27 when he was scheduled for a "probable cause" hearing after a Grand Jury decided there was enough evidence against Hardy to push the case to a Superior Court.
