KELLER'S WWE RAW REPORT
DECEMBER 13, 2010
NEW ORLEANS, LA.
AIRED LIVE ON USA NETWORK

[Q1]

-The show opened with a video package saying the most prestigious awards are the Slammy Awards. They previewed the various categories including Moment of the Year and Superstar of the Year.

-Michael Cole introduced the show as "an awards show like no other." He introduced his co-hosts, C.M. Punk and Jerry Lawler. Punk sat between Cole and Lawler. Lawler suggested he might hit Cole. Cole said if he does, he'll be fired.

-Justin Roberts stood mid-ring and introduced former WCW World Hvt. Champion David Arquette. Can the Sports Entertainment Board of Directors retroactively rescind his title reign from the history books on a technicality.

-Arquette stepped up to a podium on the stage and bragged about beating Eric Bischoff to become WCW Champion. He said he deserved an Oscar for "Ready to Rumble," which he called "one of the greatest movies of all time." He said the lack of respect he's getting from New Orleans is shocking. He threw to nominations:

SHOCKER OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS:

-Miz beating Randy Orton for the WWE Title.
-Nexus forming and attacking John Cena on Raw.
-Paul Bearer's turn on Undertaker
-Randy Orton giving Chris Jericho a punt kick.

WINNER: Debut of Nexus

-Barrett stepped onto the stage alone. Punk wondered where the rest of Nexus was. Barrett looked less than thrilled. He said he accepted the award on behalf of The Nexus. He said, "Of course, the Nexus wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me." He turned it into more of a guilt trip, saying had he not won NXT1 and brought the rest with him, they wouldn't have formed the most dangerous group ever. He said he has the power to re-hire Cena, and his fellow Nexus members have warned him if he doesn't, he'll be booted from the group he created. He said he hasn't made his mind up yet, but he will decide before the end of the night. He said he will be creating more shocking moments in WWE.

As Barrett began to walk away from the podium, the Raw G.M. chime sounded. Cole asked for everyone's attention as he stepped up to the podium. Punk said, "Can I... They really liked it when I did it." Cole said the G.M. was delivering another shocking moment as he'll have to face Big Show right now. Show took Barrett's Slammy Award and walked to the ring. Barrett followed behind, protesting with is hands on his hips.

1 -- WADE BARRETT vs. THE BIG SHOW

When Punk and Lawler complained about Arquette, Cole said he personally invited him and that they run into each other in Hollywood. Barrett bailed out before hooking up. He reentered at the count of nine. Show went on early offense with some hard chops in the corner. Punk sided with Barrett, saying it was unfair as he was out to accept an award, not wrestle. Barrett poked Show in the eyes and then punched him when he was blinded. Show dropped to one knee, but then made a comeback. He tossed Barrett to the floor and chopped Barrett hard across the chest. Show threw Barrett back into the ring, but before he could reenter the ring, Barrett rolled to the floor. He grabbed his Slammy trophy from the ringside table and walked to the back, getting counted out. Show continued to sell that his left eye was hard to open. It didn't look as bad as Josh Koscheck's, though.

WINNER: Show in 3:00 by countout.

-Cole hyped that Superstar of the Year will be determined later tonight.

[Q2] [c]

-Kelly Kelly came out to award the Despicable Me Award. Tyson Kidd joined her and was followed by Jackson Andrews. They should pull out the Diesel nickname from the WWE Trademark drawer and let Andrews use it. Kidd insulted Kelly, saying she just used more big words in her opening comments than in her entire life. He said it's amazing she could say "treacherous" but they won't ruin it by making her spell it. She looked him up and down and fired back: "Congratulations Tyson, you talked more tonight than you have in your entire WWE career. And two words: Super Cuts." She swiped his tuft of hair.

DESPICABLE ME AWARD:

-Drew McIntyre stripping Teddy Long of his pride
-Kane burying Undertaker alive
-Mr. McMahon for kicking Bret Hart in the gut
-C.M. Punk ruining Rey Mysterio's daughter's birthday

WINNER: Punk.

-Cole congratulated Punk excitedly, noting it's his third Slammy. Punk ran to the stage with his arms in the air, yelling "Yes! Yes!" Lawler said he can't believe Punk is proud of his award for being mean and nasty. Punk totally has Vince McMahon's haircut now. Punk said he won this award for getting even with someone who wronged him. He said someone else in the back has wronged him. He said the day will come when he gets even. He said he holds grudges and doesn't forget. He didn't reveal the target of his promise to get even. Kofi Kingston's music played and he danced onto the stage before Punk left.

-Ring introductions took place for the next tag match. [c]

[Q3]

2 -- KOFI KINGSTON & DANIEL BRYAN (w/The Bella Twins) vs. TED DIBIASE (w/Maryse) & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)

The match was joined in progress after the break with Ziggler locking Bryan in a headlock. Bryan hot-tagged Kofi at 2:00 and took Ziggler down with a Trouble in Paradise a minute later. DiBiase tried to make the save, but didn't get there soon enough.

WINNERS: Kingston & Bryan in 4:00.

STAR RATING: * -- Not much to the match, which is disappointing as the talent involved could have put together a better longer match.

KELLER'S REAX: I liked the failed save attempt by DiBiase. So often referees stop counting even if the wrestler's shoulder remain down just because the interfering wrestler hits the opponent going for the pin on the back. That shouldn't be enough to stop a three count. It's like denying a penalty in the NFL if you scored a touchdown on a play where the opponent was flagged. Why should a wrestler interfering stop a three count if you manage to keep your opponent's shoulders down? They've gotten sloppy with that over the years, and this was a nice step in the right direction to what makes more sense. Make the wrestler interfering really yank the wrestler pinning his partner off the top to stop the count. [c]

-WWE Fact: WWE touts its military outreach, sending all of its TV shows and PPVs to military personnel.

-Santino and Vladimir Kozlov walked out to the podium for presentation of another Slammy. Santino joked about Vlad being humiliated by the entire cast of MacGruber. Vlad replied who could forget the time the person who brought up MacGruber at the Slammy Awards ended up crushed by him. Santino apologized and kissed him on his cheeks. Santino said that's what they do in Europe. Vlad said they're not in Europe.

GUEST STAR SHINING MOMENT

-Mike Tyson punching Chris Jericho
-Pee Wee Herman matching wits with The Miz
-Wayne Brady taking an RKO from Randy Orton
-William Shatner singing WWE theme songs

WINNER: Pee Wee Herman.

-Cole said Herman couldn't be with them tonight, but they have recorded words from him. He said the trophy is so shiny and he's overwhelmed. He said he'd like to thank everyone involved, but no one else was involved other than Big Show and Miz. He said he's ready to come back whenever they need him. He then said, "Was that the phone?" He said he was about to burst into tears. He thanked everyone and then plugged his Broadway show which runs for three more weeks. He said his WWE appearance was one of the best things he ever did in his entire career. He then said, "You like me! You really like me!" Punk complained about Shatner not winning.

-Backstage Barrett put his trophy on the locker shelf. David Otunga led the rest of Nexus into the room. Otunga said, "Well, what's your decision?" Barrett said nothing. Otunga said it's up to him, but if he doesn't rehire Cena, Nexus will be okay, but Barrett might not be given how vulnerable he looked against Show. Barrett laughed and thanked Otunga for opening his eyes because now he knows exactly what to do.

-A plug aired for Saturday's Tribute to the Troops including a list of guest stars and singers. If you haven't heard, it's "the most patriot show of the year." It's Saturday on NBC.

[Q4] [c]

-Cole plugged that tickets for Extreme Rules go on sale Saturday.

3 -- MARK HENRY vs. CODY RHODES

Cody threw fits over Henry messing with his face. Cole said he spends hundreds of dollars a day on his face so he has a right to throw fits. Punk said people think Cody's soft because of his concern with his looks, but he's not. Cody applied a chinlock at 1:00. When Henry made a comeback, Punk said Cody wishes he was still at the spa. Cody avoided a corner splash seconds later and then nailed the Beautiful Disaster kick. Cody then hit a flying knee to Henry's shoulder (or spine, as Cole described it) and scored the pin. Cole and Lawler called it an upset. Punk said Cody now has time to go get his legs waxed.

WINNER: Cody in 3:00. [c]

-Jerry Lawler stepped out to present the Holy @#$%% Move award. Vickie Guerrero joined him. Lawler said he was happy to see Vickie because he was up all night at the veterinarian with his pet lizard. Vickie asked what was wrong. He said, "Reptile dysfunction." Vickie told him to just go on. Lawler talked about the amazing moves fans see in WWE. Vickie said she reacted the same way when Cole cost him his chance at WWE Title. Lawler said that's problem the reaction Ziggler has when she models new lingerie for him or perhaps the reaction of the waiter when he says at restaurants regarding the menu, "I'll take it." Vickie said she has lost a considerable amount of weight. Lawler looked behind her and said, "Look around, I think you'll find it."

[Q5 - Hour Two]

HOLY @#$% MOVE AWARD

-John Morrison's Diving off the Saffolding
-Kofi Kingston diving off a ladder onto the announce table with a Boom Drop
-John Cena giving an Attitude Adjustment to Batista off a car through the stage
-Randy Orton giving an RKO to Evan Bourne as he was flipping mid-air.

WINNER: Cena.

-When Lawler announced Cena was the winner, he said since Cena is fired, he can't accept the award. He said it's unfortunate. Barrett said there is nothing unfortunate about Cena being fired. He said if he wants the trophy, he can come and get it. He walked the trophy to the ring.

Barrett said the entire world is hanging on his every word to see if he rehires Cena. He said, "My decision is... My decision is..." He milked the moment and said he won't reveal his decision unless Cena is in the ring to hear it. He told him to come out and face him man-to-man. Cena came through the crowd. He made a lot of little kids happy with hand-slaps and hugs on his way. Cena entered the ring and soaked up cheers. Barrett said if Cena attacks him now, he is guaranteeing what his decision will be. Barrett said his decision affects a lot of people - Cena, Barrett, and the Nexus. Out walked the rest of Nexus - Michael McGillicuty, Health Slater, Justin Gabriel, Husky Harris, and Otunga.

Cena took off his t-shirt and smiled as Nexus surrounded the ring. Punk said it wasn't looking good for Cena. Barrett then said: "Cena, you're officially rehired." Cena celebrated and the crowd cheered. Barrett said, "On two conditions. You agree to face me one-on-one this Sunday at TLC in a Chairs Match. Two, you give the whole world what they've been waiting to see and you agree to go one-on-one with David Otunga." Otunga tilted his head at ringside and then gave a piercing look at Barrett. Cena continued to smile. Barrett said he wanted to show everyone why he decided to rehire him. The rest of Nexus then attacked Cena as Barrett brought a chair into the ring. Barrett then smashed the chair across Cena's back. He hit him again across his arm. Punk called it vicious. Cole said that shows why Barrett rehired Cena tonight. [c]

-The announcers narrated a recap of the attack on Cena and then the Slammy Award results so far.

[Q6]

-Arquette walked out to the podium again with a change of wardrobe. He said he wasn't supposed to come out again, but he wanted to announce that he was opening a new theater in Hollywood at a hotel. He hyped shows on New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Arquette made fun of each of the nominees with the following descriptions:

FAN REACTION OF THE YEAR

-Weird kid reacting to Cena joining Nexus
-Loser crying when Shawn Michaels's career ended
-Dumbstruck moron
-Angry demon girl reacting to Miz beating Orton to become WWE Champion

WINNER: Angry Miz girl

-The angry Miz girl walked out and accepted the award. She talked softly as she thanked her dad. The crowd was about to turn on her for soft-talking nervously. Miz and Alex Riley interrupted. Miz kneeled and asked her if she remembers him. He said she looked so pretty and asked if he could look at her Slammy. Miz then said he should take it for safe keeping. He asked her to show him the face she made to win the Slammy. He imitated it. She shot him that look. He walked to the ring and the girl walked to the back. He said nobody has worked harder than he has, so he deserves a Slammy more than some nine year old girl. He said the Moment of the Year will be what he does to Randy Orton at TLC on Sunday. When he said he is the reason the fans are there tonight, the G.M. chime sounded.

Cole stood at the podium and read the message. He said he decided that six days before his tables match TLC, both he and Orton must face former champions tonight, and his match against a former champion begins now. Rey Mysterio's music played.

4 -- REY MYSTERIO vs. THE MIZ (w/Alex Riley, David Arquette)

Cole said he didn't think this was very fair. Rey knocked Miz to the floor early and then dove onto him at ringside. They cut to an early break at 1:00 as Cole guaranteed Miz would look awesome before this was over. [c]

Back from the break, Rey escaped a surfboard and then took Miz down with a headscissors. Miz countered the next move, but Rey turned it into a bulldog which wasn't smooth. Rey kicked Miz into position for a 619, but Alberto Del Rio walked out onto the stage to his music. Miz then used that distraction to flip Rey head-first into the ring apron at ringside. Cole pushed voting was taking place for Superstar of the Year at WWE.com. A plug aired for the Top 50 Superstars of All-Time DVD on the bottom of the screen and the WWE 2011 Official Calendar.

Rey made a comeback at 6:00 with a seated senton and a flying bodyblock for a two count. Miz came back with a kick to the cut and a schoolboy. Rey rolled through and kicked Miz and scored a two count. Lawler told Cole, "You better go help him." Punk told Cole to stay right where he was. As Rey set up a 619, Del Rio distracted him. Miz charged at Rey, but Rey moved and Miz knocked Del Rio to the floor. Rey schoolboyed Miz for a believable near fall. Rey set up a 619, but Del Rio tripped Rey as Riley distracted the ref. Miz small packaged Rey for the three count.

WINNER: Miz in 7:00.

STAR RATING: *1/2

-Rey chased Del Rio to the back after the break. Arquette joined Riley and Miz in celebration in the ring. Lawler said it took a village for that victory.

-The G.M. chime sounded. Cole stood at the podium and said Orton's opponent will be a former champion, too, as promised: Alex Riley and former WCW Champion David Arquette. Arquette was excited. Lawler called him an idiot. Riley and Miz didn't share Arquette's enthusiasm. [c]

-Edge came out to present the next award. He said Kane was supposed to be his co-presenter, but he was busy having a meltdown. Edge said after Sunday, he'll forget all about Paul Bearer after he beats him for the World Hvt. Championship at TLC. He said now he needs a co-presenter he's comfortable with whom he knows well and has had chemistry with over the years. Out walked Christian in an arm sling. Cole said he's Edge's buddy from "the legendary Edge & Christian tag team." Edge asked how his pec was doing. Christian said it was feeling better. He said he hopes Del Rio wins the award tonight because his peeps haven't forgotten that Alberto is the reason he's been on the shelf with an injury.

"OH SNAP" MELTDOWN NOMINEES

-The Big Show destroying Jack Swagger's childhood trophies
-Alberto Del Rio beating up Rey at ringside
-Edge attacking the mystery G.M. laptop
-Batista throwing a fit and quitting from a wheelchair

WINNER: Edge for destroying the Raw G.M. computer

-Christian read that Edge won. Edge wasn't thrilled because he claimed he's always been calm and rational. He then went on a rant about the gutless, vindictive G.M. who hides behind a computer and had another meltdown. Christian received a message on his iPhone from the Raw G.M. He leaned into the mic and asked for the fans' attention. He said he just received an email from the Raw G.M. Edge said he has to be kidding. Cole said it's not funny. Christian said he was kidding, just trying to cut the tension. He told Edge to settle down. Edge thanked him. Edge said after Sunday he'll be the new World Heavyweight Champion. He said after all of these years, one thing remains the same. "Michael Cole is still a massive tool," he said. The crowd cheered as Cole shook his head and said, "Come on now. Why?" He then ranted about Edge winning an award for destroying a computer. He said it's ridiculous and stupid.

-Sheamus's ring entrance took place. He walked out in a robe wearing a crown and carrying a scepter. Cole said he had to leave for a minute and regain his composure. John Morrison's ring entrance took place as Cole complained about Morrison interrupting Sheamus's coronation ceremony. Punk explained why to Cole.

5 -- SHEAMUS vs. JOHN MORRISON

They had an intense collar-and-elbow hook-up at the start. Sheamus shoved Morrison into the corner and beat on him. As the ref scolded Sheamus, Morrison tackled him. The ref pulled Morrison off of Sheamus. The ref scolded him for using closed fists in a barrage of punches. Sheamus tackled Morrison. They rolled around and the ref DQ'd both men. The crowd hated that call. They chanted, "Let them fight! Let them fight!"

WINNER: DDQ in 2:00.

[Q8]

-The Raw G.M. chime sounded. Cole read the statement from the sheet of paper on the keyboard of the laptop. He said their match at TLC will have higher stakes now - the winner will become the no. 1 contender for the WWE Title. A contract will hang over the ring in a ladder match, winner gets a title shot. Sheamus didn't like that, arguing loudly at ringside that he should be the no. 1 contender because he won the King of the Ring. Sheamus jabbed Morrison in the chest with the ladder. Then he lifted Morrison and threw him over the top rope onto a bridged ladder at ringside. Ouch.

-Cole plugged Orton vs. Riley & Arquette and Cena vs. Otunga. [c]

-WWE Fact: WWE Superstars have granted over 5,000 wishes over 25 years for Make-a-Wish and continue to do more than 200 each year.

-J.T.G. and William Regal stood at the podium for the Knucklehead of the Year award. J.T.G. did his bit as Regal squirmed uncomfortably, as if he had just swallowed cat vomit.

KNUCKLHEAD OF THE YEAR NOMINEES

-C.M. Punk for being unmasked as a bald man.
-Mae Young for swearing at LayCool
-Beth Phoenix for kissing Great Khali and eliminating him from a match
-Santino & Vladimir dancing together

WINNERS: LayCool, per J.T.G.

Lawler was confused because it was the other way around - Mae Young was up for the award for beating LayCool. LayCool danced out and accepted the award. Layla said Mae Young couldn't watch because her nursing home didn't have basic cable. That was just nonsense. [c]

[Q9 - Hour Three]

6 -- DIVAS BATTLE ROYAL - Determine's Diva of the Year

Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendez were the first out. The Bellas and Maryse were also eliminated early. Beth Phoenix eliminated Melina. It came down Layla, Gail Kim, Alicia, Phoenix, Natalya, and McCool. Phoenix eliminated Layla. Natalya eliminated Kim and Alicia, McCool then eliminated Natalya for the win. Lawler said they will never heard the end of this.

WINNER: McCool in 4:00.

-Cole read a statement from the G.M. revealing that LayCool would face Phoenix & Natalya in the first-ever Divas Tables Match. That stopped LayCool's celebration.

-They showed Edge backstage heading to the entrance tunnel for his match against Jack Swagger.

-A commercial aired hyping the the "Top 50 Superstars of the Year." The narrator called the results controversial and said the countdown is shocking. At least someone is listening to the criticism of how ridiculous this list is in multiple places, with a lack of perspective on actual historical contributions to WWE relative to others. [c]

-A clip aired of Kane inadvertently making his father, Paul Bearer, go splat on Smackdown on Friday. Cole said he's outraged at what Edge has been doing to torment Kane. How are we to take seriously the idea that Kane being tormented is something to take satisfaction in when it's overshadowed by the ludicrous no-selling of Bearer being tossed 20 feet to his apparent death? I suppose one is just Road Runner ha-ha funny and the other is supposed to draw money, huh?

7 -- EDGE vs. JACK SWAGGER

Swagger dominated the first two minutes.

[Q10]

Edge made a brief comeback, but then Swagger took over again. He applied an anklelock at 4:00. Edge powered out and rolled into a leverage pin attempt. Edge countered a gut-wrench powerbomb attempt by Swagger and then executed his Spear.

WINNER: Edge in 5:00.

STAR RATING: *1/2 -- Decent match. With Edge getting a World Title shot, it's the right finish, too, although I still don't know that WWE can afford to diminish Swagger's credibility in the aggregate like they've been doing.

-Riley told Miz that Arquette hasn't been in a movie for ten years and when he was, he wasn't that good. "And he can't protect anyone; everybody in that movie died," he said. Arquette excitedly walked into the picture and tried to psych them up. Riley complained that Orton is dangerous and Arquette is delusional. Miz said he only has one thing in mind - putting Orton through a table. [c]

-They went to the announcers at ringside. Cole announced that Amin Okar, a fan from Burbank, won the Video Game Moment of the Year contest.

-Big Show came out to present the WWE Moment of the Year award.

MOMENT OF THE YEAR

-Free or Fired: Barrett vs. Orton with Cena as referee
-Sheamus attacking Triple H during his tribute to Shawn Michaels's career
-Edge's super-sized spear of Jericho off a table
-Streak vs. Career - Undertaker vs. Michaels

WINNER: Streak vs. Career, of course.

-Cole said Michaels regretted not being there to accept the award, but he did send in a video message. He said he's at an undisclosed location because if he showed up, WWE would try to get him to come back "and we can't have that." Michaels said it was a tough moment, but a wonderful ride. He said he loved every second of it. He said he doesn't miss it, but he misses the fans. He said he hopes some day soon they can see each other again.

[Q11] [c]

8 -- RANDY ORTON vs. ALEX RILEY & DAVID ARQUETTE (w/Miz)

Punk said he can't honestly say Orton is facing two men in this case. Arquette wore a loud red, white, and blue karate gi. Arquette enthusiastically tagged in when Riley got the advantage on Orton at 1:00. Orton recovered quickly, kicked Arquette in the gut, and immediately pounded the mat to signal for his finisher. Arquette lost his enthusiasm and slid back to his corner and tagged himself out. Orton went to work on Riley, standing on his face. Lawler said he didn't watch "Ready to Rumble," but he did flush a ten dollar bill down a toilet so he felt that he saw it. Orton missed a kneedrop. Riley went on offense with a suplex leading to a two count. Orton came back and finished Riley with an RKO.

WINNER: Orton in 4:00.

-Afterward Miz hit Orton with is Money in the Bank briefcase. Arquette helped him set up a table in mid-ring. They attempted to double-suplex Orton onto the table. Orton fought free and knocked Arquette over. As Orton set up Miz for a powerbomb onto the table, Arquette hit Orton from behind. Orton turned and Arquette looked a little frightened. Orton grabbed him, kicked him in the gut, and then milked the moment as Miz watched from ringside. Orton then powerbombed Arquette thorugh the table. Lawler said that might be his favorite moment from 2010. Miz looked on from the ramp as Arquette was strapped to a backboard in the ring and Orton's music played.

-Lawler plugged that Cena vs. Otunga was up next. [c]

[Q12]

-Lawler and Punk ran down the TLC line-up.

-Michael Cole then stepped out to the podium to announce the best quotes of the year.

LINE OF THE YEAR

-Santino to Sheamus: "Do you take your tea dark or milky? I apologize, I am not referring to the fact that you have no pigmentation."

-Miz to Bret Hart: "In my very first WrestleMania match, I won. Seventeen wins from tying the Undertaker. Don't laugh."

-Triple H to C.M. Punk: "You don't drink, you don't do drugs, and you don't smoke. Neither do I. Then again, I don't look like I've been on a week-long crack binge with Amy Winehouse."

-John Cena to Heath Slater: "Is that Heath Slater or the chick from Wendy's?"

-Edge: "Why do you keep interfering in my business? Why am I arguing with computer?"

-Dusty Rhodes: "Man, I raised some weird kids."

-Michael Cole: "Could I have your attention, please?"

-Randy Orton to Sheamus: "I'd RKO my own grandmother to keep this title. Then I'd RKO your grandmother to see the look on her face."

They also played some odd blooper quotes from NXT rookies, Mike Tyson threatening Hornswoggle, Eve insulting Miz, Stephanie saying thank god when told her father was likely brain dead and still in a coma, Swagger asking where he could get his eagle mascot medical insurance, a Cole blooper, and ended with Ron Simmons saying, "Damn!" Cole then announced that he's the winner.

Cole said he's a bit shocked and wasn't expecting it, but he pulled out written notes. He said he is humbled by the award even though he deserves it. He thanked his Cole Miners. They played him off quickly.

-Lawler said there's just 60 seconds left to vote for the Superstar of the Year. [c]

-WWE announced that WWE would take over USA next week with Raw on Monday, Smackdown live on Tuesday, and Tribute to the Troops on Wednesday. A live Smackdown on USA. That's interesting.

-Smackdown president Teddy Long danced onto the stage. Cole was complaining about being played off. Lawler told him to shut up.

SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR

-Edge
-The Miz
-John Cena
-Rey Mysterio
-Randy Orton

WINNER: John Cena. Big surprise.

[Q13 - Overrun]

-Cena walked out and thanked the fans for not giving up on him. He said it's been a wild three hours as it began without a job and ended with him winning this award. He said the funnest part was peeing in Barrett's coffee. He said he enjoyed tailgating with fans. He said they picked the right city to end his unemployment because, while it's a PG show, boy did they have fun. "Believe me, there is magic on Bourbon Street. I have lived it," he said. He said he was a man of his word all along and now that he's back on the show full time, he will continue to be a man of his word. He said he hasn't gotten to two members of Nexus yet - Otunga tonight and Barrett on Sunday. He said on Sunday every ounce of frustration, anger, and misery will be unleashed (you know, the frustration, anger, and misery that fit between the having fun with fans and peeing in coffee and all that).

-Cole reset the show, stating that he was rehired earlier. Barrett stepped onto the stage after Cena's ring entrance and said he wanted to remind him of what's in store for him on Sunday. A replay aired of Nexus beating down Cena followed by Barrett chairshots (which Cena wasn't selling at all, which doesn't exactly sell the "Chairs" part of the TLC theme). Otunga shot Barrett an intense look before heading to the ring wearing his Nexus hoodie.

9 -- JOHN CENA vs. DAVID OTUNGA

When Otunga entered the ring, the other Nexus members walked to the back one at a time, with Barrett being the final to turn his back on Otunga. Cena then yanked Otunga into the ring and the bell rang. Cena clotheslined Otunga and then forearmed him in the corner. Otunga made a comeback at 2:00 and scored a quick two count. Cena countered immediately with an STF mid-ring and Otunga tapped out of nowhere.

WINNER: Cena via tapout in 3:00.

-Cena stared back at Barrett standing on the stage. Cena entered the ring with a chair and jabbed Otunga in the gut with it. Then he bashed him across the back. Otunga looked for help from Nexus, but help didn't arrive. Cena hit him across the back again. The camera showed the back of Barrett's t-shirt which ironically read "We Are One." Cena hit Otunga again across the back as Barrett stood and smiled. Cena stared at Barrett until Otunga stood. Cena hit him again and as Otunga rolled out of the ring, Cena swung twice more. He let out a big yell as his music played. Barrett also raised a chair and patted it with his hands. The corner of the screen plugged LouisiannaEntertainment.gov promoting the local area.
