PWTorch reader Leander B. asks: Good morning to you. As always, I am enjoying your articles and expert analysis, as well as your opinions on everything WWE. I have a question, or perhaps a "what if." Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan are still on the mend. Although it is safe to say that both will return at 100 percent, it is also safe to say that the timetable is open on when they will be back in action. To placate the viewers (myself included), “what if” Rusev and Lana (Luscious Lana) are in the ring, telling the WWE Universe how great they and Mother Russia are, when out comes an exasperated Paul Heyman. He is “sick and tired” of hearing about the great Rusev and how he will destroy all Americans. So. Since Rusev wants to beat the best, how about he have a talk with a “Real American Champion”, Brooooooock Lesnar? Naturally, Rusev is anxious to fight, but Lana is more than worried (and rightfully so), because she doesn’t know if this is a challenge Rusev can conquer. Still, before they can get away, here comes Lesnar, more than ready for a fight. I think this would be a great idea, a great feud to “pass the time” until WrestleMania and no one actually gets the best of the other, leaving the door open for the feud to continue after Wrestlemania. Plus, it turns antihero Lesner into a “tweener” at least, while enforcing Rusev as the (still) Big Bad Unbeatable Russian force. What do you gentlemen think? Brock Lesnar needs some competition. I'm just not sure if Rusev is ready yet for that task.

He took second to Todd Grisham.) Lesnar is either the highest paid or near the top of the highest paid talent in WWE. He has a set amount of dates in his contract. If WWE wanted to pay him at the same rate to add dates, he would probably do it. Brock Lesnar is too expensive to "pass the time."

PWTorch reader Phil R. asks: Hey Wade and everyone. Long time fan. I particularly enjoy McNeill's PPV previews! I'd love to see Daniel Bryan back at the Royal Rumble, then on to face Brock at Mania. Do you think WWE would go to the expense of bringing back his Europe theme tune for maybe one night only? That would be awesome! Thanks for your time and well done for all the hard work.

Plus, where do you chant "YES!" during "Final Countdown"? We'll see how Bryan heals up before making any future predictions on his place at WrestleMania. But if I were a betting man, I'd say Daniel Bryan has had his biggest WrestleMania moment for at least the next few years.

PWTorch reader Jason M. asks: At Night of Champions, as Brock Lesnar was entering the ring, the announcers were discussing Lesnar's 2014 thus far, including proclaiming perhaps the best year an individual has had in wrestling history. As this ties into a question I have been considering posing to you anyway, what do you think are the Best Years Ever. For my money, no one can top Ric Flair's year in 1989.

Triple H's 2000 was pretty good. Daniel Bryan throughout 2013 was putting on amazing matches literally every week, sometimes multiple times per week. But yeah, '89 Flair is a great choice.

PWTorch reader Russell P. asks: Hey guys. Now that WWE is back to only one belt for the world title, will this be the last time that they will make a new belt? Because it sure does seem like that they make a "new" belt every five years! (I understand that some wrestlers like to have a "customized" belt, but I felt that those would be considered an exception rather than the rule.) The only other question I have is why does the WWE needs to create a new world title belt every so often? Even the NWA still has a same old design for the world title belt even after more than 50 years! Thanks for your help guys.

INDY PROMOTER & ANNOUNCER Brad Stutts (Follow @cwfmidatlantic and @stuttsy and listen to his podcast at www.WrestlingWithOptimism) answers: The NWA definitely didn't have the same belt for 50 years - the "domed globe" which has come to symbolize the NWA Championship in the past two decades first originated in 1973 and was only used until 1986 when the "big gold" (later template for the WWE World Heavyweight Title) was introduced. NWA promoters brought back the domed globe (the belt Jeff Jarrett, Adam Pearce, etc. have worn in recent years) in the '90s. But prior to '73 several different belts were used.

In any case, we are excited to present to you a new cast for the Ask PWTorch spinoff, which is available exclusively on the PWTorch App (or, for VIP members, on the VIP website too). You are reading this, so you are either a VIP member or have already downloaded the free PWTorch App on your phone or tablet. If you aren't a VIP member, why not? The "Ask PWTorch All-Star Panel" edition is scheduled to be published first thing in the morning (although not necessarily every single day, like the afternoon website-based Ask PWTorch is; we'll see about that as we move forward). It will feature an entirely different panel of experts and analysts than the afternoon Ask PWTorch does. We have assembled a wide range of contributors, which may expand or change over time, with the goal being to give PWTorch readers new perspectives from people who have particular areas of expertise. John Piermarini: Ex-WWE Creative Team member who will provide a behind-the-scenes perspective from his years working for WWE including alongside Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and John Cena. He has been a frequent PWTorch Livecast guest and was the subject of a comprehensive five-hour Torch Talk interview several years ago about his experience with WWE for most of 2009-2010.

Greg Oliver: SLAM! Wrestling reporter and wrestling book author (and hockey book author), Greg will provide a Canadian perspective on many wrestling topics. If you are a fan from Canada or have Canadian-related wrestling questions, Greg can help you. He is a wrestling historian who published a wrestling newsletter during the boom period of insider wrestling newsletters starting in the late 1980s. We were pen pals in the early 1990s and first met at a 1989 wrestling convention in Chicago run by Jon Gallagher of the Wrestling Forum (the first insider wrestling newsletter I ever received in the mail in early 1987).

George Schire: Author of "Minnesota's Golden Age of Wrestling," former Pro Wrestling Focus radio cohost with me in the early 1990s on KFAN, former contributor of history pieces to the PWTorch Newsletter, and multi-time guest on PWTorch Livecast "Interview Friday," he will be providing a historical perspective to Ask PWTorch.

Johnny Fairplay: Reality Star and Wrestling Manager, perhaps best known as Pat McNeill's Regis Philbin. He was an old neighbor of PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell who watched PPVs at his house long before he became a contestant on Survivor twice. He has been on many reality TV shows, the PWTorch Livecast numerous times, and follows wrestling very closely. You can read more about him on Wikipedia.

Brian Fritz: Host of the long-running "Between the Ropes" podcast, and now working for Yahoo! Sports radio, he also has been a guest on the PWTorch Livecast (and I've been a guest on his podcast), he brings years of reporting on wrestling including on-site interviews with wrestlers at major press events over the years. He follows today's wrestling and will provide his perspective and take on your questions.

Mick Karch: An early PWTorch Newsletter columnist over 20 years ago, Mick has been an announcer for virtually every national wrestling promotion other than the WWF, WCW, and TNA in the last 25 years. He currently works as an announcer on Minnesota indy wrestling shows. He got his start in wrestling running the Nick Bockwinkel Fan Club in the 1970s and is known for his sense of humor, strong opinions, and tremendous insight into wrestling's past dating back many decades, but he also watches today's wrestling regularly and can provide valuable perspective as a result of that span of time following and participating in the industry.

Brad Stutts: He has worked behind the scenes in wrestling in many roles, including taking jackets to the back, setting up and tearing down rings, running websites for indy promoters, running lights and music at live events, and performing as a manager, announcer, wrestler, and promoter. He currently is the lead announcer for CWF Mid-Atlantic Wrestling in North Carolina.
