WWE Raw TV taping report
September 7, 2015
Baltimore, Md.
Report by VIP member Brandon Carr

- After Raw went off the air, John Cena and Seth Rollins had a promo exchange aimed at Baltimore. Cena sent the crowd home happy with an AA.

Other Raw TV Notes:

- Opening Segment: Seth Rollins had some pretty good heat to start but as the promo got long people got bored. The fans really wanted to see Sting, but a lot of people in my section were thinking he was not going to be live.

- Divas match: Paige was pretty popular with the kids, but Sasha Banks was popular with the smart fans. What was interesting was the adult women loved Sasha. The crowd usually leaves for Divas matches, but they pretty much stayed for this.

- Shield tag match: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose got huge pops, especially Roman. The people in Baltimore loved Reigns. There were kids running to his section where he comes down to take pictures. And the women really love him. I think people really like him and Dean together. The match against not-over Ascension was quick and gave the people what they wanted to see.

- Ryback vs. Rollins: Good match. The people seem to want to cheer Seth, but his character is so slimy that they can't. I think a face turn will be easy when they decide to do it. Kids really love Ryback and "Feed me more" is over with everyone.

- The crowd loved the backstage segment with New Day/Seth and Dudleys/Edge & Christian. The Dudleys and New Day seem to be bringing back some interest in the tag division.

- The Rusev/Summer Rae segment was a bad soap opera. This crowd hated the long promo segments, but Rusev is great at his character. He owns it and does not try to get cheers at al.

- Randy Orton vs. Sheamus: Orton go a big star reaction. I heard a bunch of people saying "Sheamus and Orton again." They had a good match; it just felt "blah." The crowd got into it by the end mostly wanting to see the RKO.

- Cesaro vs. The Miz: Cesaro got a nice reaction. There was a "Cesaro Section" behind he announcers. The Miz is good at his role and the crowd got a kick out of him.

- Bellas promo: The Bellas got a minor "Cena reaction." Some people cheered and some people booed - I'm not sure if WWE is looking for that reaction for them. It's weird they were cheered by kids and booed by adults. Charlotte was over but not as much as Sasha.

- Main Event six-man tag: The New Day is really great. The crowd eats up their gimmick and it was nice to see some new blood in the main event. All six guys worked hard and having the Prime Time Players rub arms with Cena got them big points with Cena fans. This match was great live - the crowd was into the match through to the end. Cena always finds a way to get the crowd behind him.

- Loudest Cheers:

(1) Roman & Dean.
(2) The Dudley Boys. If WWE thinks people forget about past stars, the Dudley Boys should change their minds. The people love them, including the kids.
(3) New Day.
(4) Cesaro and Randy Orton tied.

- Most Heat:

(1) Seth Rollins
(2) Summer Rae & Rusev
(3) Sheamus
(4) The Wyatts

John Cena got the biggest reaction of the night, but cheers and boos were probably 60/40.

- Overall it wasn't a great show but the crowd had a good time. They started getting tired around 10:30 p.m., as the show is very long.
