WWE Live show results
September 5, 2015
Wildwood, N.J.
Report by Robert Riccardi, PWTorch correspondent

Tony Chimel was the ring announcer.

(1) Ryback beat Big Show to retain the Intercontinental Title. Big Show was very versatile.

(2) Jimmy Uso beat Brad Maddox. Maddox worked the mic pretty well; Uso finished match very quickly and won.

(3) Natalya beat Alicia Fox via submission. Alicia came out very hot and attacked Natalya quickly. Natalya responded. They went back and forth, then Alicia left ring, but Natalya brought her back. Natalya won with the Sharpshooter and celebrated ringside.

(4) Curtis Axel & Damien Sandow beat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) and Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando w/El Torito) in a triple threat tag team elimination match. Standard match. Los Matadores were eliminated first by Ascension. El Torito then landed a quick kick on The Ascension and he was chased from the ring. Axel took advantage with a pin on The Ascension for the win.

(5) Dean Ambrose beat Luke Harper. Standard Ambrose vs. Harper match. Ambrose got the clean win and celebrated with the fans at ringside. Ambrose is a great sport with the fans.

[Intermission]

(6) R-Truth beat Bo Dallas. Usual "Bo-lieve" speech to start the match and Ron sang "What's Up." Great back-and-forth comedy in this one with a dance-off in the ring. Truth won clean, then celebrated with youngsters in the ring.

(7) Neville beat "Stardust" Cody Rhodes. There were chants of "Cody," which Stardust corrected by saying, "It's Staaardut." Great high-flying and acrobatics by both combatants. Neville won clean with a high-flying pin.

(8) Roman Reigns beat Bray Wyatt in a Wildwood Street Fight. Wyatt started on Reigns with a kendo stick, but Reigns turned the tables. Wyatt used a weapons arsenal of a steel chair, kendo stick, and ring stairs. Reigns retorted with series of Superman Punches. Wyatt reversed a Superman Punch attempt and put Reigns through a table. But, Reigns reversed a Sister Abigail on the rebound. Wyatt brought out another table, which Reigns put him through. Suddenly, Luke Harper interfered, as did Braun Strowman. Neville and Dean Ambrose then came in for the save. They went back-and-forth until Reigns speared Wyatt for the win. Reigns, Ambrose, and Neville all celebrated with the fans at ringside.

Notes: The Wildwood Convention Center was about three-quarters full. ... Tony Chimel announced a future return, but no return date was announced. ... The crowd was hot and the event lived up to expectations. ...
This was a great birthday gift from my wife and daughter.

Greatest Pops:

(1) Reigns
(2) Ambrose
(3) R-Truth
(4) Natalya
(5) Neville

Most Heat:

(1) Bray Wyatt
(2) Luke Harper
(3) Braun Strowman
(4) Bo Dallas
