Global Force Wrestling Results
September 3, 2015
Cedar Rapids, Iowa at Veterans Memorial Stadium
Report by Luke Hames, PWTorch correspondent

I've been a pro wrestling fan pretty much my entire life, and I've been to many wrestling events around the country, but this GFW promotion was something else. Attendance was roughly 350-400 people. They had the sections blocked off except behind home plate, where the crowd sat.

(1) Colt Cabana beat Ariya Daivari in 10:00. Shenanigans throughout the match; decent comical opener.

(2) Tommaso Ciampa beat Kevin Matthews in 15:00. Fair match, nothing special. Matthews kept reminding the crowd that he is from Brooklyn.

(3) Mickie James beat ODB via schoolboy in 8:00.

Jeff Jarrett came out to thank the crowd for coming. The New Heavenly Bodies came out to trash Jarrett and Cedar Rapids. Jarrett verbally retaliated, and the Bodies attacked. Zero Gravity came out to save the day to start the next match.

(4) Zero Gravity (Brett Gakiya & C.J. Esparza) beat New Heavenly Bodies (Desirable Dustin & Gigolo Justin) in 15:00. Good match with decent spots.

There was a 20-minute intermission. They announced ODB and Mickie James would be signing autographs and taking pictures for $20. They also called down everyone who bought a $200 laser-signed Jeff Jarrett guitar on the field for autographs and pictures with Jarrett.

(5) Sonjay Dutt beat D.J. Zema in 10:00 via top-rope splash. Fair match. The crowd was tired, though.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came out to "Hooos!" to say a few words. He talked about loving to be back in Iowa, and gave us his usual patriotic speech. Davari came out, protesting in Arabic, which generated "USA" chants. Duggan sent him packing with a clothesline and a "HOOOOOO."

(6) Magnus beat Chris Masters in 15:00 via powerbomb. Masters left the match early, claiming he won. Hacksaw came out to send him back in the ring, which led to Magnus getting the victory. Great match.

After the show, anyone could get a picture taken with Duggan and Jarrett in the ring for $20.

- Best Match: Masters-Magnus.

- Worst Match: Ciampa-Matthews - too much acting, not enough wrestling.

- Biggest Pops: Duggan, Jarrett, Mickie James, Magnus.

- Biggest Heat: Daivari, Bodies, Masters, Matthews.
