[Q1]

-WWE open. (It’s baaaack!)

-Smackdown opening music video followed by pyro and Josh Mathews welcoming everyone to Friday Night Smackdown! Josh is joined by JBL this week.

-The Miz is in the center of the ring for an episode of MizTV. He calls the last 48 hours a living hell since losing his IC Title to Kofi Kingston. Miz invokes his re-match clause at Hell in a Cell, then vows to show Kofi why he is the most must-see Superstar and show him what living hell is truly like. Miz segues into introducing his guests for tonight – Team Hell No!

Daniel Bryan and Kane make separate entrances, and Josh notes that at Hell in a Cell they will face the winners of the Tag Title tournament. The Miz notes the separate entrances and says that they aren’t a true tag team. Kane starts to explain why they make them, but Bryan interrupts and says that he has his. Bryan threatens to separate Miz’s teeth from his mouth. The Miz asks if the guy with the goat face is really making a comment about someone's appearance. Miz then goes back in time to when he was Bryan's pro on NXT and says that they didn’t get along then, Bryan doesn’t get along with Kane now, and that he must be the problem. Miz then says that no matter who they face at Hell in a Cell, they will lose the titles.

Kane tells Miz that it doesn’t matter what he thinks because he has been a multiple time tag team champion and he has beaten them all. Kane says that if Bryan is the problem, then Kane is the solution! Bryan interrupts to say that Kane is nothing without him, the world’s toughest vegan. Kane compares that to being the world's tallest dwarf. Lame. Miz tries to interject himself, but they shut him up. Bryan says that he is no dwarf, he is a former World Champion who destroyed a giant to win it and more importantly he is the tag team champions! Kane and Bryan argue on and on, then Big Show interrupts and makes his way to the ring.

The Miz looks bored as his show begins to spin out of control. Big Show says that he has no problem with Kane and that he will see him on Raw on Monday, but his problem is with Daniel Bryan. Show says that him winning the World Title from him was a fluke and next time Big Show is champion, nothing like that will ever happen again. Big Show threatens to knock out Bryan and Bryan slyly hides behind Kane. Kane tells Big Show that while they might have a match on Monday, they don’t have to wait. For some odd reason, this draws out Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph takes offense to everyone talking about Bryan's Money in the Bank cash-in when it was sooo last year. Dolph has the briefcase now and everyone should be wondering when he is going to cash in. Dolph teases that he will steal the show at Hell in a Cell when he cashes in and steals the World Title. Dolph jokes that if Bryan can cash in on Big Show and win, then anyone can. Everyone in the ring start arguing about god knows what, then Booker T’s music hits.

Booker T comes out and is about to make a decree tonight, then Miz interrupts and tells Booker what he is going to do sarcastically, then thanks him for coming. Booker tells Miz that he is not out to make a tag match featuring everyone in the ring, Booker says that he isn’t making one big match, he is making two big matches – Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big Show and The Miz vs. Randy Orton. Randy Orton comes out, he is facing The Miz, next!

[Q2]

-Josh throws to a clip of Randy Orton returning to Smackdown last week and putting Ricardo Rodriguez through a table with a RKO.

(Commercial)

1 - THE MIZ vs. RANDY ORTON

The match is joined in progress with Orton hip-tossing Miz and then Garvin Stomping him. The camera pans back and Alberto Del Rio is in a skybox watching the action. I also note the tons of empty seats in the upper deck! Randy Orton pounds away on The Miz in the corner, he whips him into the far corner and clotheslines Miz on the rebound. Orton stomps Miz’s hand, he then picks up Miz and side suplexes him. Irish whip by Miz, he knees Orton in the ribs to knock the wind out of him, he follows up by suplexing Orton into the top rope and knocking him to the outside.

(Commercial)

The Miz has Orton in a chinlock when Smackdown returns. Ortons tries to fight out, but Miz puts him down with an inverted DDT. Matt Striker is in the sky box, he asks Del Rio if he feels that Orton RKO’ing Rodriguez through a table last week was a message? Ricardo takes offense, then Del Rio tells Striker that he isn’t afraid of Orton because he is the new Apex Predator! Back in the ring, Miz nails Orton with a running clothesline in the corner. The Miz goes to the top rope, but Orton knocks him off balance, he then superplexes The Miz to the mat! Orton goes for the pin, but Miz kicks out at two!

JBL sings the praises of The Miz, who has been in three hellacious matches this week, but Orton can’t put him away! Orton hits Miz with a backbreaker, he calls for the RKO, but Miz rolls out of the ring, Orton follows him out, Miz rolls back in, but gets drop kicked by Orton. The Miz misses a boot to the face, Orton answers back with a rope-assisted DDT.

[Q3] Orton calls for the RKO again, he is coiled, Miz counters into a Skull Crushing finale attempt, but Orton slips out and RKO’s The Miz for the win!

WINNER: Randy Orton via pinfall in 11:30 of match shown.

-Post-match: Orton looks up at the skybox and he motions at Del Rio to come down and fight. Del Rio rips his coat off and tells Orton that if he wants to fight, he will do it on his own terms.

-Backstage, Sheamus walks into Teddy Long and tells Teddy that he isn’t doing great. Sheamus says that he is sick of fighting Wade Barrett and their matches haven’t had a definite ending. Teddy Long has an idea for a lumberjack match tonight and he will run it by Booker T. Both men walk off and Eve is shown eavesdropping in the backround.

(Commercial)

-Josh plugs the finals of the tag titles tournament on Raw this Monday!

2 - TEAM RHODES SCHOLARS vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL & TYSON KIDD

Kidd dropkicks Cody to start, then tags in Gabriel, who catches Rhodes with a boot to the face. Gabriel goes for the 450 splash, but Sandow pulls Cody to the outside. Gabriel takes out both men with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Cody regains the upper hand and stomps away at Justin in the corner. He tags in Sandow who comes in and hits Justin with a side Russian legsweep and follows with the elbow of disdain. Tag to Cody, who snapmares Justin and then puts him in a submission maneuver focusing on the neck.

Gabriel flips out of the hold and dropkicks Cody. Cody tags out, Gabriel hits Sandow with a boot to the face and tags in Tyson Kidd. Kidd springboard cross body blocks Sandow and knocks Cody off the apron. Tyson goes for a sunset flip on Sandow and sets him up for the Sharpshooter, but Sandow blind-tagged out. Cody Rhodes hits him with the Beautiful Disaster Kick for the win!

WINNERS: Rhodes Schaolars by pin in 3:00.

-Backstage, Booker is with Eve and Teddy comes in and offers his idea of a lumberjack match, but Eve says that she had that idea a week ago and accuses Long of stealing her idea. Booker tells Teddy that he knows better than to do that. Booker excuses himself and Eve says that she will walk with him. They leave Teddy alone and he finds Eve’s iPad and start perusing through it.

-Up next. Team Hell-No vs. Dolph Ziggler and The Big Show!

(Commercial)

[Q4] -Hype video for Sheamus vs. Big Show at Hell in a Show is shown.

3 - WWE Tag Team champions TEAM HELL NO vs. BIG SHOW & Dolph Ziggler - non-title match

Bryan and Ziggler start things off, and Dolph uses his amateur wrestling backround to take Bryan down. JBL notes other famous vegans like Mike Tyson, Bill Clinton, and Wade Keller. Okay, he didn’t mention Wade. Dropkick by Dolph, who tags in Big Show, who then calls out Bryan, who matter of factly tags in Kane! Both men trade blows. Big Show wins the exchange after a huge spear! Big Show continues his assault on Kane with a series of headbutts in the corner. Big Show beats on Kane in the heel corner, he then whips Kane into another corner and misses a charge. Kane tags in Bryan who dropkicks Show and then hits him with a series of No Kicks. Bryan’s knockout kick gets blocked, Big Show picks up Bryan and press-slams him to the floor as Smackdown takes a break!

(Commercial)

Dolph has Bryan on the ropes when Smackdown returns. He makes a cocky cover on Bryan to little success. Elbow drop by Dolph, who follows up with a picture perfect dropkick! Dolph puts Bryan in the corner and chokes him with his boot as he tags in Show. Dolph argues with the ref that they are following the rules, and he counts along with the ref on the five count. Big Show systematically dismantles Bryan, then calls for the Chokeslam, but Bryan turns it into a DDT. Dolph gets tagged in and breaks up Bryan's tag attempt. Dolph drops a series of elbows on Bryan, then shows off to the crowd. Tag to Big Show, who hits Bryan in the stomach with a right hand. Iron Claw to the ribs and Bryan has a tough time getting out before walking into a sidewalk slam from The Giant!

[Q5] Dolph tags in. He is ready to finish off Bryan, but Bryan comes alive with a second wind and takes out both heels. He tags in Kane, who clotheslines Dolph from the top rope. Sidewalk slam from Kane followed by a big boot. Another sidewalk slam as Big Show looks on from the floor. Kane calls for a Chokeslam, but Bryan tags himself in! Bryan takes out Dolph with a running clothesline and drop kick. Bryan goes up top and tries to missile drop kick Big Show but gets caught. Kane comes in and knocks Big Show to the floor, Bryan turns his attention towards Dolph and puts him in the No-Lock to get the submission win!

WINNERS: Bryan & Kane by submission in 13:00.

-Both men argue over who is the tag team champions on the stage, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow jump them from behind, they knock Bryan to the floor and then put the boots to Kane. Abruptly, Smackdown cuts to Josh Mathews and JBL at ringside. They discuss the last two matches between Wade Barrett and Sheamus and how the matches end with Big Show causing a DQ.

(Commercial)

-Earlier, Antonio Cesaro tried to get acquainted with the city of Memphis. He went to Sun Studio where people like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley recorded some of their great hits. Antono says that it is nothing but a place for toothless hillbillies to make honky tonk music. Antonio Cesaro demands that the place be torn down.

4 - U.S. champion ANTONIO CESARO vs. TED DIBIASE – non-title match

Shoulder block from Cesaro to start. He plays to the crowd and that allows Ted to dropkick him. Sunset flip from Ted gets a two count. Cesaro back-body drops DiBiase to the floor, then rolls out to dish out some extra punishment before rolling him back in.

[Q6] Gut wrench suplex from Cesaro gets a two count on Ted. Cesaro puts him in a neck vise, but Ted fights out and clotheslines Cesaro down and then follows up with a sitdown powerbomb. Ted goes to the middle rope and jumps off into the forearm of Antonio Cesaro. Neutralizer from Cesaro puts DiBiase away!

WINNER: Antonio Cesaro by pinfall in 3:00.

-Up next, the Raw Rebound.

(Commercial)

-WWE is promoting a Rolling Stones tour on PPV in December.

-WWE Raw Rebound featuring C.M. Punk and his decision on whom he will face at Hell in a Cell.

-3MB are in the ring. Josh Mathews throws to a clip of the Three Man Band jumping Zack Ryder last Monday. Back in the ring, Heath Slater has a microphone and he calls the group the greatest group in history. Drew yells into the group that they are the Three Man Band, and Jinder says that they rule. Heath claims that he will beat up Brodus Clay, next!

5 - BRODUS CLAY vs. HEATH SLATER

Slater side-steps Brodus to start and unleashes a flurry of right hands. Brodus no-sells and fisherman-suplexes Slater for a two count. Brodus misses a splash in the corner, Heath nails him with a missile dropkick for a two count. Slater tries a suplex, but Clay reverses into a front face suplex. Running headbutts from Clay, Drew and Jinder cause distractions on Clay as Slater recovers and he hits Brodus with a modified Stunner for the win(?)!

WINNER: Heath Slater by pinfall in 2:00.

-Backstage, Matt Striker is with Wade Barrett. Wade says that there seems to be some false notion that Sheamus is a tough guy when in fact he finds him very stupid. Why would Sheamus be concerned with a match against Wade Barrett when he has a big match against Big Show in two weeks. It is like Sheamus doesn’t want to be champion anymore. Wade then has a message for Big Show, when he wins the title at Hell in a Cell, remember who did him the favor of wearing down Sheamus and be sure to return the favor!

-Still to come, Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett in a lumberjack match!

(Commercial)

6 - NATALYA vs. LAYLA

Eve is on commentary for the match. Josh claims that the Divas locker room is divided because of Eve and the blonde wig found in her bag. Eve says that it was planted. Layla and Natalya trade pin attempts to start, then roll out of the ring. Layla gets caught staring at Eve, so Natalya takes advantage. Back in the ring, Nattie puts her in an abdominal stretch, Layla reverses out and tries a victory roll on Natalya, Nattie clotheslines Layla. Layla chick kicks Natalya for a win out of nowhere!

WINNER: Layla by pinfall in 2:00.

-Backstage, Kaitlyn is checking her phone when Teddy approaches her with Eve’s iPad. They look at the iPad and seems shocked. Teddy tells her to do what she needs to do with the information. Kaitlyn takes pictures of the iPad and asks Teddy to put Eve’s iPad back.

-The lumberjacks make their way to ringside. Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett is next!

(Commercial)

-The lumberjacks are shown around ringside, Big Show is leaning against the barricade, looking like he doesn’t want to be there.

[Q8]

7 - World Hvt. champion SHEAMUS vs. WADE BARRETT - non-title Lumberjack match

Barrett and Sheamus trade blows to start, then Sheamus takes advantage after kicking Wade in the face. Sheamus goes to shoot the ropes, but Cesaro trips him up. Barrett clotheslines Sheamus down and then connects with a pumphandle slam. Wade kicks Sheamus to the floor, and the lumberjacks roll him back in the ring! Boot to the face by Barrett, then he knees Sheamus in the ribs and face repeatedly. Sheamus comes back and backs Barrett into the corner, where he unloads on him. He tries to whip Barrett into the far corner, but Wade reverses and whips Sheamus hard into the turnbuckle as Smackdown takes a commercial break!

(Commercial)

Back on Smackdown, Barrett whips Sheamus into the turnbuckle, but Sheamus explodes out of the corner with a series of Irish Hammers. Sheamus ties Wade up in the ropes and clubs him on the chest ten times as the lumberjacks count along. Sheamus connects with White Noise and calls for the Brogue Kick. The heels pull Wade Barrett to the floor and Sheamus dives to the outside on top of the lumberjacks. Sheamus throws Barrett back into the ring and he catches Sheamus with a mule kick to the face. That looked brutal!

Both men are slow to make a ten count from the referee. Barrett is up first and he sets Sheamus up for Wasteland, but Sheamus slips out and whiffs on a Brogue Kick. Wade then knocks Sheamus to the floor in front of other faces. Barrett goes outside and a huge brawl breaks out between the lumberjacks. Sheamus and Barrett rolls back into the ring and Sheamus hits Wade with a Irish Curse backbreaker. Team Hell-No then make their entrance and start fighting all lumberjacks. Cody tries escaping through the ring, but Sheamus tosses him to the apron and Wade Barrett accidentally knocks him to the floor. Wade then turns around and runs into a Brogue Kick and gets pinned!

WINNER: Sheamus by pin in 11:00.

-Post-match, Dolph sneaks up behind Sheamus and knocks him out with a belt shot. Dolph goes to cash in his briefcase, but Big Show knocks him out with a WMD before he can. Big Show lets Sheamus know that at Hell in a Cell he will meet the same fate that Dolph met tonight and Show will walk out with the title!
