Live in Austin, Tex.

The Card: Roman Reigns vs. Kane in a Last Man Standing match, Seth Rollins vs. Rob Van Dam, Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del Rio, Stephanie McMahon-Brie Bella contract signing for Summerslam, and Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper.

Live Raw on USA Network

Raw opened with a video package on the Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns feud to hype their Summerslam match.

Live from the University of Texas, Triple H's music played to bring out Hunter and Stephanie McMahon hand-in-hand. They were flanked by Seth Rollins, Kane, and Randy Orton to complete the group. Orton and Rollins were in dark suits, while Kane was in his usual black and red gear.

Once everyone was in the ring, Hunter noted they are two weeks away from Summerslam and it's available on WWE Network for just $9.99. Hunter said he's not the kind of guy who likes to pat himself on the back, but he's going to do just that because this could be the biggest Summerslam card in history. Hunter added another Network plug, which drew boos. Hunter then hyped Rollins against Dean Ambrose. For just $9.99 on the Network.

Hunter then brought up an idea from Rollins, who suggested a Beat the Clock Challenge. The set-up is the winner of the Challenge gets to pick the stipulation for Rollins vs. Ambrose at Summerslam. Hunter said Ambrose's opponent will be Alberto Del Rio, while Rollins's opponent will be Rob Van Dam, which got a reaction.

Stephanie took the mic to loud boos. She noted she's wearing cowboy boots since they're in Texas, then hyped the contract signing for her match at Summerslam against Brie Bella. Which you can catch on the Network for just $9.99. Steph said if Brie gets out of line, she will slap Brie so hard that she winds up in a hospital bed next to Daniel Bryan. "Yes!" shouts from the crowd. "Yes, I will," Stephanie grinned.

Next, Hunter hyped Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena at Summerslam. For just $9.99. "Oh boy," Lawler said under his breath. But, wait, there's more. Orton took the mic and hyped his guarantee to the audience: the decimation of Roman Reigns. Orton said Reigns took something very dear to him - his WWE Title shot - suddenly, The Shield's music played to bring out Roman Reigns through the crowd.

reigns marched down to the ring through the crowd looking to get in a pre-Summerslam fight. Or, a promo, as he stopped mid-way down the 100 section stairs to address Orton. Reigns said he took everything Orton had last week, but he's still standing right here. Reigns then vowed to come down to the ring and beat Orton's ass. For free. Tonight. Hunter tried to calm everyone down in the ring, then told Reigns that he gets Kane. Boos. And, he expects to see the demon tonight... in a Last Man Standing match. Hunter said that match starts right now.

[ JC's Reax: WWE reports a Net Loss and only a slight bump in WWE Network subs on Thursday, then comes out on Monday with the hard sell of all hard sells for the Network. There are definitely jobs on the line here. But, is the message getting through when the top heel authority figure is pitching the offering? ]

[Q2]

1 -- ROMAN REIGNS vs. KANE -- Last Man Standing match

More WWE Network chatter from the announcers as the match started up back from break. Reigns knocked Kane to the outside early on and followed up with a Superman Punch running off the ring steps. Kane answered a ten count, then reversed a whip into the ring steps to smash Reigns into the steps. Another reversal on the other side of the ringside area, but Kane answered a ten count.

Kane followed up by introducing a kendo stick into the match. Kane punished Reigns's back with the stick before lifting the steps into the air to drive into Reigns's head. The result was a slight blood spot on top of his head at the hairline. Reigns made it to his feet, Cole sent Raw to break, the action kept going, and Reigns eventually dumped Kane over the guardrail as Raw cut to break.

[Commercial Break at 8:22]

Back from break, Kane popped Reigns in the mouth with an uppercut. Reigns came back with a flying clothesline off the ropes, then uppercut Kane into the corner. Reigns then left the ring to deliver a running dropkick to Kane's head. The match then moved to the floor, where Kane surprised Reigns with an uppercut. But, Reigns reversed a whip that sent Kane flying into the ring steps. Reigns slid a table into the ring, but Kane blasted him from behind.

Back in the ring, Kane set up Reigns's table. Reigns tried a comeback, but Kane chokeslammed Reigns through the table. The announcers sold this being over, which meant it wasn't. Reigns made it to his feet at nine, then Kane tried to follow with a Tombstone, but Reigns slipped out and bodyslammed Kane into a chair. Reigns followed up with a running Superman Punch. Kane remained on the mat, but ref Mike Chioda just stood there not counting Kane. The announcers asked what's going on, then Reigns and Kane set up a finishing sequence resulting in Reigns spearing Kane center-ring. This time, Chioda started counting. And, Kane was unable to make a ten count.

WINNER: Reigns at 15:17. Pretty good LMS match. Odd final sequence, but overall effective in continuing to establish Reigns as a top star on the roster. (**1/2)

[Q3] Still to come: Seth Rollins vs. Rob Van Dam and Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del Rio in the Beat the Clock Challenge.

Up Next: Video interviews with John Cena and Brock Lesnar. A preview showed Lesnar talking about enjoying punishing his opponents.

[Commercial Break at 8:33]

Video Package: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena. "Who is Brock Lesnar? I'm an ass-kicking s.o.b.," Lesnar opened in a sit-down interview setting. "I came back to the company because I want to be WWE champion again. I don't give a (bleep) who's in my way." Lesnar said everyone knew he would beat The Undertaker, but they just didn't want to believe it.

The video transitioned to John Cena becoming WWE World Hvt. champion at the MITB PPV, then Cena spoke in a sit-down interview setting about being very fortunate to be where he is. But, he got to this point by only looking forward. And in front of him is Brock Lesnar. Cena said he knows what he's in store for.

The video cut to Lesnar saying it's going to be ugly when he rips Cena limb from limb. BAck to Cena, who said he knows he's going to take a beating, but he knows how to beat Lesnar. "Come get some," Cena repeated. Cena said he wants to be the one who beat The One. The video cut to footage of Lesnar in UFC, then Lesnar said if he did not leave WWE ten years ago, there would have been no John Cena. Cena replied in the video about dedicating his life to this company for ten years.

Back to Lesnar, who vowed to rip Cena apart at Summerslam, then he's going to stand before him as WWE World Hvt. champion. With pride. "I'm going to leave him in a pile of blood, urine, and vomit," he closed.

Announcers: Back to Cole, Lawler, and JBL, who were produced to follow up on the great Lesnar-Cena video package with the cheesy $9.99 sales pitch for WWE Network. Unbelievable.

Still to come: Jericho vs. Wyatt Family member Luke Harper.

[Q4] [Commercial Break at 8:44]

Back live, Jim Ross's music played to bring out Damien Sandow dressed in Oklahoma Sooners gear to start up the Red River Rivalry in August. Sandow came out to boos and claimed dominance for OU. He shouted "Boomer Sooner" over and over again after previewing this year's match-up at the Cotton Bowl. Justin Roberts then gave a big hard sell for Mark Henry, who returned to TV sporting a Texas Longhorns t-shirt to a big reaction. Henry threw up the Hook 'Em Horns sign on the way to the ring, then flashed it in the ring.

2 -- MARK HENRY vs. DAMIEN SANDOW

Burnt Orange vs. Crimson & Cream visual to start the match as the announcers resumed the ten-year discussion of what the name of the rivalry game is after sensitivity issues over "shoot-out." Henry eventually finished off Sandow with World's Strongest Slam to make short work of Sandow.

Post-match: Henry left the ring and found Longhorn legend Vince Young on the second row to shake hands to wrap the segment. Young is from Houston, but is expected to soon take a job at Univ. of Texas, which is why he was in Austin on Monday.

WINNER: Henry at 0:48.

Backstage: Adam Rose was standing by with the Rosebuds. Rose was concerned that he would find a lemon when he looked into the mirror. WWE added scary piano music as the mirror turned into Rose seeing himself in a suit. Back to Rose, who said the man in the mirror was a lemon. After scaring the Rosebuds, he led the group away.

In-ring: Dean Ambrose was introduced to the ring for the top-of-the-hour spotlight match.

[Commercial Break at 8:54]

Next Monday: Hulk Hogan returns to TV. The marketing was the "birthday celebration" for Hogan, who turns 61 next Monday. Additional marketing focused on "surprise guests" joining Hogan.

[Q5 -- second hour]

3 -- DEAN AMBROSE vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO -- Beat the Clock Challenge match

Del Rio and Ambrose went back and forth as the announcers debated what type of match stipulation Ambrose or Rollins will pick for their Summerslam match. Del Rio took control of the match at 3:30, then posted Ambrose's permanently-injured shoulder. On the outside, Ambrose reversed a whip to send Del Rio into the barricade. Suplex followed, then Ambrose rolled Del Rio into the ring for a two count.

Now at 5:00, Ambrose tried to force Del Rio to tap out to a submission, but Del Rio broke free and posted Ambrose again. Del Rio tried to follow with a top-rope attack, but Ambrose smashed him in the mid-section. Right hands followed, then Ambrose ran over Del Rio, who answered with a standing kick to the face. Ambrose rolled to the outside as Raw cut to break at 7:00. Long match for Beat the Clock...

[Commercial Break at 9:06]

The match was still in progress at 10:30. On commentary, Lawler said Ambrose needed to win this match a long time ago. Del Rio continued to wear down Ambrose, but missed with a boot to Ambrose's head against the post. Ambrose followed with a dropkick sending Del Rio careening over the guardrail into the front row.

Back in the ring at 12:00, Ambrose landed a dropkick, then corner-attacked Del Rio. Ambrose followed with a Tornado DDT, but only scored a two count. The announcers continued to sell Ambrose in a tough spot on the Challenge, then Del Rio flipped Ambrose onto his face for a two count only. Ambrose suddenly rebounded off the second rope to deliver a big lariat, but Del Rio kicked out of a pin.

At 15:00, Del Rio slapped on a submission hanging Ambrose's injured arm over the top rope. Del Rio then called for the end of the match, charged Ambrose, but Ambrose ducked and Dirty Deeds with his healthy arm. Ambrose covered Del Rio for the win.

WINNER: Ambrose at 15:42. Very interesting going a full 15 minutes. The length seemed to have a bit of a negative effect on the crowd, which lost interest since the babyface appeared to lose hope of winning the Challenge as the clock ticked away, without thinking about Rob Van Dam just needing to beat Seth Rollins for Ambrose to win and his time to be irrelevant.

[Q6] Video Package: Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon feud.

Up Next; Rusev crushes.

[Commercial Break at 9:20]

In-ring: Rusev was celebrating in the ring with Lana. The announcers said a match happened on the App during the break - it was Rusev beating Sin Cara. Cole tried to link the Network and App together by saying the App is the gateway to the Network.

4 -- RUSEV (w/Lana) vs. SIN CARA

WINNER: Rusev in 0:00 shown.

Post-match: Lana took the mic to talk about a tweet about President Obama's dog choice vs. Vladimir Putin's animal choice. Lana said today is the President's birthday, so she will sing it in Russian. Rusev stood by scowling toward the booing crowd as Lana sang out the tune.

Suddenly, Real Americans's theme music played to bring out Jack Swagger (not representing OU tonight) and Zeb Colter. Lana spoke over the theme music, prompting Zeb to tell her to shut up. Colter said he's sick and tired of hearing about Putin. And Mother Russia. And Rusev Crush. Because they have no idea what's going to happen at Summerslam when Swagger defends the U.S. flag and represents every Real American in the world.

[Q7] Colter said he would like to introduce his own visual aids: hard-working Nick supporting a wife and two kids, Megan who works 60 hours a week as a nurse, and American soldiers, which drew cheers. Colter told "Natasha and the dancing bear" that he has a little prediction for Summerslam: old glory waving in the breeze. And the only thing that will get crushed in Lana's ego. Now, with that said, We The People.

Swagger and Rusev squared off as Lana twitched in anger over these words from Colter. Lana started to lead Rusev out of the ring, but Colter drew them back over, which caused Swagger to take his eye off Rusev, who jabbed Swagger in the gut with his Russian flag. Rusev put it to Swagger, then clotheslined him over the top rope with the flag. Suddenly, Zeb was alone in the ring with Rusev. Rusev looked to Lana for instructions, but she told Rusev to back down. "We the People," Lana mockingly said in Zeb's face before leading Rusev away from the ring as his music played.

Still to come: Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper. If Jericho wins, then Harper joins Erick Rowan in being DQ'ed from ringside for Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt at Summerslam.

[Commercial Break at 9:35]

Announcers: Cole, Lawler, and JBL hyped WWE Network "expanding globally" next week.

In-ring: Cesaro was standing in the ring, Dolph Ziggler's music was playing, and The Miz was on commentary. Cole said Miz vs. Ziggler has been made for Summerslam.

5 -- DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. CESARO

Miz was sipping on a hot tea to heal his voice. Meanwhile, Cesaro scored a very close two count 15 seconds into the match. Cesaro followed up with power offense as Miz ran down Ziggler in the ring. Specifically, Miz said Ziggler takes too many risks in the ring. Cesaro followed up with a one-handed vertical suplex attempt, but Ziggler slipped out and dropped Cesaro with the Zig-Zag. it was good for the pin and the win.

Post-match: Miz entered the ring and held up the IC Title belt in Ziggler's face. Ziggler told Miz to laugh it up now, then he started to leave the ring, but returned to tease a superkick to Miz's face. But, Miz ducked and avoided taking a shot to the moneymaker. Miz sold being stunned by nearly getting his face smashed.

WINNER: Ziggler at 2:09. And, the ultimate conflict for many fans of Ziggler getting a decisive singles win, but Cesaro losing another match, this time in just two minutes.

Announcers: Cole and Co. hyped the Divas Title feud and WWE Network in alternating sentences. This led to a review of events from Smackdown when Paige attacked A.J. Lee from behind. The announcers said A.J. suffered whiplash as a result of the attack.

Backstage: Tom Phillips brought in Paige to discuss what happened. Paige sarcastically wished her a speedy recovery. She got excited talking about facing A.J. at Summerslam, then sarcastically said she misses her so much. "Bye, Tom," she said.

Up Next: Goldust and Stardust return to action.

[Q8] [Commercial Break at 9:45]

In-ring: Ryback and Curtis Axel were standing by in the ring. Goldust then came out on-stage before the music transitioned to Stardust's theme to bring out Cody Rhodes. The duo bounced down to the ring as Lawler talked about this weirdness running in the family with Dusty.

6 -- GOLDUST & STARDUST vs. RYBACK & CURTIS AXEL

The heels isolated Goldust early on until Stardust was able to tag in for the first time. Cody did a cartwheel into a dropkick, then single-arm DDT'ed Axel for a two count when Ryback broke up the pin. Goldust posted Ryback, then Cody grabbed Axel for a swinging facebuster for the pin and the win.

WINNERS: Goldust & Stardust at 2:48. Well, it was a re-introduction. The audience hasn't been given enough to sink their teeth into to invest in the oddball act, though.

Authority's Office: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were shown reviewing some paperwork, then Kane walked in. Kane turned his back to the camera, removed his mask, handed it to Stephanie McMahon, and walked off.

Up Next: Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper. JBL interrupted by freaking out wanting to talk about Kane removing his mask as Lawler tried to get in the talking points for Jericho vs. Harper.

[Commercial Break at 9:55]

Moments Ago (a/k/a Take Two): Kane removed his mask and handed it back to Stephanie McMahon.

WWE then cut to a sponsored replay of Jericho beating Erick Rowan on Friday's Smackdown.

[Q9 -- third hour] In-ring: Jericho's pyro shot off to bring out Chris Jericho for the top-of-the-hour match. Jericho, who cosmetically now looks like he's in wrestling mode and not fresh off the tour bus, posed for the crowd in the ring before the Wyatt interruption played. Out came Erick Rowan, then Luke Harper sans Bray Wyatt.

7 -- CHRIS JERICHO vs. LUKE HARPER (w/Erick Rowan)

Back-and-forth early on as the wrestlers felt each other out in the ring. Harper then ran over Jericho with a big boot before calling for the end. Harper delivered a big sit-out powerbomb, but Jericho kicked out just before three. Jericho responded with the Walls of Jericho center-ring. Harper teased tapping, but the Wyatt interruption played. When the lights came back on, Bray Wyatt was ringside distracting Jericho. Bray teased entering the ring, but Jericho nailed Rowan and Harper with Codebreakers. Bray then thumbed Jericho in the htroat, causing a DQ, which means it's Jericho vs. Bray one-on-one at Summerslam.

Post-match: Bray scooped up a coughing and choking Jericho, then snapped off Sister Abigail center-ring. Bray entered trance move, then dragged Jericho to the center of the ring to pose over him. "Follow the buzzards," Bray shouted toward the ceiling.

WINNER: Jericho via DQ at 5:15. Passe finish to a sample of what could be a really good match-up.

[Commercial Break at 10:10]

Main Event: A.J. Lee returns to TV tomorrow night on WWE Network.

In-ring: El Torito, Diego, Summer Rae, and Layla were making their way to the ring dressed in bullfighting/Wild West outfits. Fandango then came out on-stage and introduced a new dance partner, a bald-headed Hornswoggle doing a dance number in a colorful outfit. In the ring, Swoggle got stuck trying to do the splits.

[Q10]

8 -- FANDANGO (w/Hornswoggle) vs. DIEGO (w/El Torito, Layla, and Summer Rae)

Fandango accidentally ran into Swoggle early on. Diego capitalized by pinning a prone Fandango for the win.

Post-match, Summer and Layla checked on Swoggle, who sold liking the extra attention from the Divas. Summer and Layla then led Swoggle into the ring to dance and celebrate with Diego and El Torito, who ended his feud with Swoggle by telling him to join the celebratory dance. Fandango, angry, chucked Swoggle across the ring. Diego then whipped Fandango across the ring to take a top-rope attack from El Torito.

WINNER: Diego at 0:42. The three-hour format has really been exposed tonight with a depleted roster available and an overall under-developed mid-card.

Locker Room: Renee Young interviewed Randy Orton, who introduced his own footage showing the beating he gave Roman Reigns last week on Raw. Orton said he proved that he can strike anytime and anywhere, so Reigns better keep his head on a swivel at Summerslam. Orton teased a Punt if Reigns isn't careful.

In-ring: Bo Dallas was introduced to the ring trying to get back in the win column after losing to R-Truth last week.

[Commercial Break at 10:21]

9 -- BO DALLAS vs. R-TRUTH

Truth was very aggressive early on with a high-impact attack to Dallas. Dallas woke up and charged Truth for a clothesline, but Truth ducked and smashed him in the face with a kick. Truth missed with an axe kick, then Bo rolled up Truth, grabbed a handful of trunks, and scored a three count for the win.

Post-match: Bo celebrated a little too much for Truth, who ran out of the ring to attack Dallas and whip him into the barricade. But, Bo reversed a whip into the ring steps and then dropped Truth with the Bo-Dog running off the ring steps.

WINNER: Dallas at 1:00.

Still to come: Stephanie-Brie contract signing for Summerslam.

[Commercial Break at 10:28]

[Q11] Video Package: The Rock narrated a new ad spot for WWE Network.

Announcers: Cole, Lawler, and JBL re-plugged the WWE Network available for $9.99. The Wyatts had enough of the ad, as Bray Wyatt's interruption played.

Video: Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen to wonder aloud why people don't run away from the wolf. Bray asked Chris Jericho who he is. He said he's Bray Wyatt - the nightmare at the end of Chris's dreams. "Beyond time, I stand," he said before singing about having the whole world in his hands. The camera focused on Bray holding out his hands, then extending his thumbs. The video interruption played.

Back to the announcers, who talked somberly about Bray facing Jericho at Summerslam. Cole transitioned to hyping John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, then Lawler hyped Cena vs. Lesnar from Extreme Rules 2012 airing on WWE Network tonight after Raw.

Video Package: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena - a re-airing from earlier in the night. It's blood, sweat, and vomit at Summerslam.

In-ring: Rob Van Dam's music played to bring out the first competitor in the default main event of the show. RVD marched down to the ring as Cole hyped Seth Rollins needing to beat RVD in less than 15:42 to call the match against Dean Ambrose at Summerslam.

[Commercial Break at 10:42]

[Q12] In-ring: Seth Rollins made his way to the ring. After posing with the MITB briefcase, Rollins entered the ring to face off against Van Dam. Suddenly, Justin Roberts said RVD will not be Rollins's opponent tonight. Instead, it will be ... (a fan audibly shouted "C.M. Punk") Heath Slater. Cole basically tried to come up with a nice way to say Slater sucks, especially compared to RVD, who shrugged and left the ring.

x -- SETH ROLLINS vs. ROB VAN DAM -- Beat the Clock Challenge match

10 -- SETH ROLLINS vs. HEATH SLATER -- Beat the Clock Challenge match

The bell sounded and Rollins cockily dressed down Slater, who tried to hit him with a right hand, but Rollins beat him down into the corner. Suddenly, Dean Ambrose showed up ringside. Ambrose very calmly and quietly walked in front of the announce table to tell Rollins he better hurry up. Rollins said he has plenty of time, then nearly got pinned via neckbreaker from Slater.

Ambrose then picked up the MITB briefcase and walked over to the announce table. Ambrose opened up the case, took out the MITB contract piece of paper, and held it up for Rollins. Ambrose ripped up the contract while acting like "oops, that hurt." Ambrose stuffed a shred of the paper in his nose, then Rollins turned around and took a knee to the face from Slater for a close two count. Ambrose then walked over to the front row, where it appeared NXT champion Adrian Neville was planted on the front row to provide a beverage for Ambrose. Ambrose dumped the beverage in the briefcase, further upsetting Rollins. Ambrose then grabbed popcorn and ate it up before "accidentally" spilling it in the case.

Next, Ambrose went looking for a cowboy hat provided by JBL. Ambrose walked around the ringside area like a cowboy, then stuffed the hat inside the briefcase. Ambrose, done with his work, lifted up the dripping and leaking MITB briefcase in the air. Slater finally rolled up Rollins from behind and scored a three count for the win. That gives Ambrose the stipulation choice at Summerslam.

WINNER: Slater at 4:49. A little too much like elementary school kids battling each other with pranks. But, that's somewhat been the theme after pupil Rollins turned on his group partners Ambrose and Reigns to join principal Hunter.

Post-match: Ambrose danced a little to Slater's theme music to taunt Rollins, who left ringside and tried to grab his briefcase, but it was too messed up to handle. Rollins sold being angered over the condition of his case, then he threw a fit. WWE replayed the match, then Cole hyped Ambrose planning to make the stip for their match at Summerslam good. Apparently the stip will not be announced this week.

Next Monday: Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration with special guests.

[Commercial Break at 10:56]

This Friday on Smackdown: Dean Ambrose reveals his Summerslam match pick.

[Q13 -- over-run] Announcers: Lawler and JBL were shown alone at the announce table to hype WWE Network. This led to a video package on the Cena vs. Lesnar match at Extreme Rules, which will air on the Network after Raw. Back to JBL, who clarified that they're still having a match at Summerslam.

Contract Signing

Stephanie McMahon's music played to bring out Stephanie and Triple H for the main event contract signing. Michael Cole was already in the ring to officiate the signing. Brie Bella then came out with Nikki Bella as Cole took his place.

Hunter took over for Cole by hyping Summerslam on WWE Network next Sunday. Where, for $9.99, there will be an "historic match" between Stephanie and Brie. Hunter said when an "icon" comes out of retirement to wrestle, normally he would officiate the contract signing, but because of his personal interest in his wife's match, he hands the proceedings over to Michael Cole. Hunter said he stands here a loving, proud, and devoted husband to Stephanie.

Brie Bella cut off the make-out session by saying she's ready to throw up. Steph said if anyone would understand spousal support, it's her little husband. Is he still recovering? Brie said he is still recovering, but she wants to know if Steph has recovered from this? It was a video package of Steph arrested two weeks ago on Raw.

Back live, Steph sold anger over this video review. Brie asked Steph that when she made her a jailbird, was it easier to trade in her power suit for a jumpsuit or Hunter for her cellmate, Big Beulah? The reference went over flat with the crowd. Brie continued that she will embarrass Stephanie at Summerslam and she will send a message to the whole world that the great, powerful Stephanie McMahon is nothing more than a fraud. A failure. An embarrassment to the McMahon Family. And this isn't just for her, Nikki, or Bryan, but Vickie Guerrero, Big Show, Rhodes Family, and for every other person on the roster who she tortured week after week. A "C-M Punk" chant interrupted, testing Brie's poise on the mic. Brie said karma always comes around, then she signed the document and called Steph a piece of trash.

Steph sarcastically said all those things got her so rattled, then said all those wrestling families would appreciate being represented by her. Steph said she's a fourth-generation McMahon, then asked who she is. "You're nothing," she said. "Nothing more than a reality star who abandoned her husband and sister to make a name off her at Summerslam." Steph said Brie will see a piece of trash looking in the mirror, then said she's embarrassed just standing here in the ring with Brie.

Steph signed the contract, then told Brie that at Summerslam, she's going to tear her heart out. They faced off from a distance, then Hunter shoved the contract table into Brie to trap her in the corner. Steph then Pedigreed Nikki to demonstrate what she's bringing to the ring in two weeks. Steph and Hunter did "Yes!" shouts, then Brie slapped Hunter. Steph retaliated, then grappled Brie to drop her with a Pedigree, too. Steph and Hunter stood tall in the ring, then Steph grabbed Hunter to make out as Raw signed off 12 minutes past the top of the hour.

[ JC's Reax: Icky segment that set back female TV characters with the women tearing each other down and down and down, following through on Brie dropping the b-word several times in past promos. These sorts of things are magnified in a big main event spotlight segment for the second straight week. The storyline was set up on a tee for Brie to finally give Steph her comeuppance at Summerslam, but Brie has been written poorly in this role, losing heroic qualities with each passing week. It's one thing to have the "Total Divas" elements exist in their own separate universe on E! next to the dysfunctional and sad Kardashians, but to bring the trashy nature of the show to Raw doesn't make for good TV and hurts the wrestling storytelling. ]

FINAL THOUGHTS: Maintenance show that just seemed to be there without much life after the first 30 minutes or so. Summerslam can't get here soon enough, as what's left of Creative post-job cuts didn't bring much to the table tonight. ]
