Second Hour Raw Results

Back from break, WWE replayed events from Earlier Tonight when Brad Maddox gave John Cena the power to name his own opponent for Summerslam. Then, Randy Orton told Cena that he'll never see his MITB cash-in coming.

In-ring: R-Truth's music played to bring out Truth for the first time in several weeks. Truth, sporting a different hairstyle, did the "What's Up?" routine with the crowd. Suddenly, Truth's intro was interrupted by the Wyatt Family. The crowd reacted, then Bray Wyatt appeared on the video screen holding a lantern. "We're here," he declared.

Back in the arena, the Wyatts emerged on the entrance ramp led by Bray and his lantern. WWE went to a wide shot of cell phones lighting up the arena as if it were a rock concert. Bray then sat down on his rocking chair as Brodie Lee and Erick Rowan hit the ring to jump Truth. As Bray rocked ringside, Lee and Rowan put the boots to Truth as the announcers referenced the Wyatts taking out Kane last week.

[Q6] Truth rolled to the outside, then Lee and Rowan looked toward Bray Wyatt for a word. Bray stood up from his rocking chair, then slowly walked into the ring. Bray took the mic and said there ain't no such thing as a hero. "Not any more," he said. Bray said people have become addicted to the illusion of a hero and what he does for them. Bray said everything is not all right. He rhetorically asked if the man who made them is a liar; that their own flesh and blood turned his back on them. "I will never turn my back on you," Wyatt said.

Lee and Rowan left the ring, then Truth entered the ring with chair in-hand. Wyatt extended his arms, telling Truth to come hit him. "What are you waiting for?!" he asked. Truth took his eye off Bray for a second, allowing Bray to blindside him with a big corner smash. Lee and Rowan then put the boots to Truth before Bray scooped up Truth, kissed him on the forehead, entered trance mode, and delivered a spinning facebuster.

The vocal males cheered the performance as Bray maintained his trance-like pose over Truth. Bray then held up Truth's head and said he is not the truth they seek. "Kane, follow the buzzards," Bray said before cackling and falling to the mat. Suddenly, the video cut out.

But, the video feed returned with Cole plugging a WWE App Poll on who should face The Real Americans (Swagger & Cesaro) - the Usos, the Prime Time Players, or Tons of Funk.

[Commercial Break at 9:19]

Back from break, the announcers were shown on-camera to react to The Wyatts taking out R-Truth, then sending a message to Kane to follow the buzzards. Cole transitioned to a plug for the new WWE Performance Center. In the video package, they removed the soundbyte from the PPV about wrestlers being able to "work on their characters." Good edit.

On-stage: Zeb Colter brought out the Real Americans, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. Zeb said this is Brooklyn, the melting pot of America. He said it's more like a port-a-potty with people speaking Spanish, Greek, Chinese, and something called Yiddish. Colter then sent a message to John Cena to pick a Real American for Summerslam.

Zeb led the crowd in shouting, "We The People," before Jerry Lawler stood up at the announce table to reveal the poll results. The winner... 55 percent for The Usos, followed by 27 percent for Tons of Funk and 18 percent for the heel Prime Time Players. The Usos then came out to the ring to face the Real Americans.

3 -- THE USOS vs. THE REAL AMERICANS (JACK SWAGGER & ANTONIO CESARO w/Zeb Colter)

Cesaro dominated early on before leading the crowd in a "We...The People" declaration. On commentary, Cole referenced The Shield taking out Mark Henry because they believe Henry is a "thing of the past." Suddenly, the Usos did a tag switch and rolled up Cesaro for a quick three count.

WINNERS: Usos at 2:16.

[Q7] Still to come: Rob Van Dam is back on Raw for the first time in six years, facing Chris Jericho one-on-one.

[Commercial Break at 9:31]

Back from break, Damien Sandow's music played to bring out the World Title MITB briefcase holder. Sandow came out on-stage and proudly held up his briefcase before WWE cut to still-shots from the World Title MITB ladder match that concluded with Sandow shoving his best friend, Cody Rhodes, off the ladder to win.

Once Sandow entered the ring, Christian was introduced as Sandow's opponent. Christian came out limping to sell the effects of the WWE Title MITB ladder match last night as the announcers noted Christian lost a piece of his front tooth from a Sheamus punch.

4 -- DAMIEN SANDOW vs. CHRISTIAN

Sandow bailed to the outside 20 seconds in, forcing Christian to run around the ring on a bad wheel. Sandow then caught Christian on the way back in before shoving him off the top turnbuckle to the floor. Hard-looking landing for Christian. Back in the ring, Sandow worked on Christian as the crowd picked up a "You Screwed Cody" chant.

Christian came back with a flying elbow smash before teasing the Killswitch, but Sandow blocked and hit a Russian Legsweep. Sandow then wanted the Elbow of Disdain, but took too long to execute, allowing Christian to suddenly roll up Sandow for the pin and the win.

Post-match: Christian quickly left the ring as Sandow demanded his briefcase. On the mic, Sandow declared himself still the Intellectual Savior and still the MITB briefcase holder. Suddenly, Cody Rhodes stormed the ring in dress clothes and tackled Sandow. Rhodes lit up Sandow until refs hit the ring to pull Rhodes off Sandow, who then bailed through the crowd and production area to the backstage area. Rhodes was left alone in the ring with his dress shirt ripped up selling determination to get a piece of Sandow.

WINNER: Christian at 3:03. Solid follow-up to Sandow-Rhodes to tease a big collision down the road. And, WWE sure was quick moving on from Christian picking up a victory of note.

[Commercial Break at 9:43]

[Q8] Random Vignette: A man in an office was having trouble with the hiccups. So, his co-worker called 1-800-Fella to have Sheamus scare the hiccups out of the man. Only it didn't work. So, Sheamus Brogue-Kicked him from behind. The punchline was not knowing if the man had insurance.

Announcers: Back on Raw, Cole, Lawler, and JBL fed to video of Vickie Guerrero trying to enter the building earlier today. The video showed Vickie walking around in a giant "VOTE FOR VICKIE" sandwich board sign asking fans to sign her petition to be re-instated as Raw authority figure. Fans came up to her to booing her instead.

Back in the arena, Brie Bella was in the ring for Divas action. Ringside, Nikki Bella was in a dress, which meant the Bellas couldn't pull off Twin Magic. Naomi was then introduced as Brie's opponent, prompting Cole to plug the "Total Divas" premiere on E! in two weeks.

5 -- BRIE BELLA (w/Nikki Bella) vs. NAOMI (w/Cameron)

As the bell sounded, Cole said Naomi feels like she's been held back in the Divas division and she's looking for respect. Plus, she's tired of being bullied by the Bellas. Naomi had difficulty with Brie early on, drawing taunts from Nikki ringside. Naomi then made her comeback and came off the top rope with a big splash to Nikki for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Naomi at 3:33. If Kaitlyn is out of the Divas Title picture, this sets up Naomi as A.J.'s next potential opponent.

Announcers: Back to Cole & Co. who brought up Paul Heyman turning on C.M. Punk for the first time tonight. WWE then cut to footage of Paul Heyman storming out of the building ignoring questions about why he cost Punk the WWE Title MITB ladder match. The video ended with Heyman turning around and shouting, "Stay out of my personal life!" WWE then went to still-shots of Heyman smashing Punk with a ladder, costing Punk the briefcase and causing Punk to require 13 staples in his head. Raw abruptly cut to break.

[Commercial Break at 9:56]

Of note, no sign of the McMahons so far tonight.
