One of the key mysteries in the main event angle that began at Summerslam was answered on Monday....(in Robert Stack Unsolved Mysteries voice) or was it?

We learned that Kevin Nash sent the text to himself. Unlike when there were so many possibilities just a few weeks ago, there seem to be only two here:

-Kevin Nash DID send the text to himself, somehow figuring either (a) Triple H wouldn't care or (b) Triple H wouldn't find out. Triple H clearly did care and fired Nash on Monday. That would seem to indicate Nash and Triple H have legit (storyline) heat and either Nash is done for good or John Laurinaitis, who hopped in the limo with Nash as he left the arena, will bring him back.

OR

-Kevin Nash DIDN'T send the text to himself, which would indicate he and Triple H are in on it together. If Nash didn't send the text to himself and he and Hunter WEREN'T in on it together, he almost certainly would have called Triple H out on it, rather than admit that he actually did send it. Whose side John Laurinaitis is on would yet to be determined in this scenario, but the fact that he's skulking around behind Hunter's back likely means he is not on Triple H's side, therefore, he'd either be working with Vince behind the scenes to set up something big down the line, or working with Punk in some form.

Of course, where Punk, Cena, Del Rio and Stephanie fit in is still a bit fuzzy. Cena and Del Rio have moved on from this mess, so one can assume they're not going to play a big part in whatever the reveal is. Stephanie was highlighted in the video package on Monday, so she's going to have some role in this.

And to answer your question, yes, I did read Encyclopedia Brown when I was a kid. And The Hardy Boys. And even the Boxcar Children. I think my work here is done....for now.
