Dragon Gate USA Internet PPV Report
June 3, 2011
Revere, Mass
Report by Sean Radican, PWTorch columnist

-- Sean Radican is live at the event in Revere, Mass. Friday night Tweeting updates at Twitter.com/SeanRadican. We'll post his live report & updates tonight. DGUSA's Internet PPV is purchasable through WWNLive.com.

(1) CIMA (w/Austin Aries) vs. Rich Swann (w/Johnny Gargano). CIMA got the heat and Swann fired back and went for a dive, but Aries tripped him. Swann comeback capped with a 450 springboard to the outside. They played CIMA's music, but Swann kicked out. CIMA hit a bunch of moves capped by the double knees off the top for the win. WINNER: CIMA. (**1/2)

(2) AR Fox vs. Scott Reed vs. Tony Nese vs. Brodie Lee vs. Arik Cannon vs. Alex Colon in a freestyle match. Insane action here with Fox taking a backdrop to the outside onto everyone. Cannon wins after pinning Colon with a brainbuster. WINNER: Arik Cannon. (***)

(3) Ricochet vs. Susumu Yokusuka. Yokosuka working over Ricochet's knees after some early back and forth action. Ricochet fires back with a handspring splash to the outside. Yokosuka gets his foot on the ropes after a sick 630 splash. The crowd is really into the action. Yokosuka wins after two big clotheslines and a pedigree variation. WINNER: Yokosuka. (***1/4)

(4) Sami Callihan vs. Masaaki Mochizuki. This match is stiff! Mochizuki just kicked Callihan off the apron into the front row. Callihan working over Mochizuki's leg after he accidentally kicked the ringpost. Music played after Sami hit a dive through the ropes - Gabe Sapolsky flipping out. Mochizuki hit a sick kick for a nearfall and the crowd is chanting his name. Mochizuki finally wins with kick number 1,372 to the back of Sami's head. Really good match. WINNER: Mochizuki (***1/2)

After the match Callihan and Cannon teased respect but then jumped Mochizuki. Yokosuka came out to even the odds and the wrestlers backstage came out to separate everyone. Good pull-apart brawl.

[Intermission]

Leonard brought out Jon Davis to start the second half of the show. Davis said he would work his way to the top. He said he has an issue with DUF. Pinkie Sanchez came out and said he was a DUF. He then challenged Davis to a match.

(5) Jon Davis vs Pinkie Sanchez. Cannon and Callihan are watching from ringside. Someone gave Cannon a beer. Davis hit a jack hammer but Sanchez kicked out. Music played again and stopped. Davis wins with a spinning sit-down powerbomb. WINNER: Davis. DUF put the boots to Sanchez after the match.
(1/2*)

(6) Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Aries. More technical difficulties. Before the match, Aries cut a promo calling Gargano and Ronin ignorant. Gargano countered Aries and rubbed his lower region in Aries's face. Gargano dominated the action early.

Aries just cut off Gargano with a dangerous-looking suplex in the elevated seating area. Gargano with a big comeback. The crowd is hot for Gargano, but Aries hit a DVD on the apron. Aries finally hit another brainbuster for the win. This was very good. WINNER: Aries. (***1/2)

Aries said Gargano didn't make him break a sweat while panting into the mic after the match.

(7) Open the United Gate Champions PAC & Yoshino vs. YAMATO & Tozawa - main event. Really good start to the match with Yamato catching PAC with a dropkick after he did some crazy flips around the ring. Heat on Yamato first. Tozawa of the hot tag but got cut off. Tozawa blocked a SSP from PAC and tagged in Yamato. Long heat segment on PAC. Crazy action after a PAC hot tag! Awesome sequence with Yamato and Tozawa running wild. Great action here with all four men in the ring. Another great sequence capped with a Yamato spear on PAC. PAC hit a sky twister on Tozawa for the win. That was nuts! WINNERS: PAC & Yoshino to retian the DGUSA Tag Titles. (****1/4)

PAC got on the mic and told Yamato he would win the freedom gate belt. PAC then thanked the fans. Yoshino then asked if we liked the show.

Quick Thought: Good show. Replay recommended.
