I miss him already.

Back to normal, or what passes for it in social media sports entertainment. Agent of Seeming Change C.M. Punk talks about his WWE Title win at Madison Square Garden. Interim Raw G.M. John Laurinaitis comes out and the two bicker about what match the WWE Universe wants. Next week, Punk defends against Alberto Del Rio. I told you Punk won because WWE wanted that Garden crowd in a good mood for the Rock show.

Alberto Del Rio beat Zack Ryder by making him tap to an armbar in a completely unnecessary move. Is it good if folks complaining about your creative decisions is what is trending right this second on Twitter? I guess all the fans and the movie star putting Ryder over wasn't enough.

Sheamus faces Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero). It's just not Swagger's night. He could have been a contender, instead of a bum, which is what he is. Not his night!

I told you a long time ago, it isn't just Fran Leibowitz who covers the waterfront.

Kevin Nash is out with the Story of the Clique, saving us all from spending twenty bucks on the DVD. Fifty-seven years ago four wrestlers decided to put their friendship ahead of the business (Antonio Rocca, Miguel Perez, Dr. Jerry Graham, Dick the Bruiser). When he came back, though, he didn't have a friend, he had a boss. So he killed The Game, and then he had a job.

No, wait.

Also, he was banned from wrestling in the Garden thanks to that riot. Nash is mad the Survivor Series main event wasn't him & Triple H versus John Cena & The Rock. Oh good lord.

Nash: The real survivor of that group stands before you now.

Booker is hilariously out of it in response: That's my homie.

Cody Rhodes is unmasked. Cody Rhodes is uninhibited. Cody Rhodes is unbeatable. Wait, what was that second one again? Hey, where are all those tweets Wade Keller promised me about Cody Rhodes and his new knee-pads?

You know there was another guy who didn't wear knee-pads beside Cody Rhodes and Buddy Landel. It's on the tip of my tongue. I know it'll come to me…

Cody Rhodes and his knee-pads beat poor old Santino Marella, then they throw water on Booker T. Why not? Every other announcer gets to wrestle…

Dolph Ziggler claims he won his two matches last night at Survivor Series (Did not. Liar.) He also claims he's the new face of WWE. Well, maybe someday, maybe soon. Let's hope.

It would be nice to have a new face of WWE. It's been a long time.

Booker T says he won't do anything right now about Rhodes throwing water on him, because he's "a professional." Let's not go crazy, Book.

C.M. Punk faces Dolph Ziggler in a battle of the champions. These two shouldn't wrestling each other now. This should be built up until Ziggler is much closer to the top of the show.

On the other hand this is turning into a good match. It gets better. Damn, can Ziggler get up on that dropkick. And there's a Randy Savage big elbow from Punk for a close nearfall.

Punk wins with the Go To Sleep. Damn good match, particularly at the end.

Something with Kane's mask…

Big Show on the ramp, saying he proved giants can fly. I beg to differ.

"Mark Henry, you left as World Heavyweight champion, but you got carted out. When you come back I got something waiting for you."

This was a well-delivered, confident good guy promo.

The Divas yammer on about some WWE product or another.

Wade Barrett faces poor Kofi Kingston. Booker: Wade Barrett, for all intents and purposes, this guy is good. Randy Orton comes out. "Barrett could be in trouble!" Michael Cole warbles before the break.

Apparently not, since the two are back to a their normal match. Barrett beats poor Kofi with the Wasteland. Some mind games there, Orton.

Hey, Randy, just in case you missed that, the winner of this match - Wade Barrett.

Slowly he turned, inch by inch...

Mr. Irony John Cena is out to talk about what happened at Survivor Series. I smell a beat down by the Miz and R-Truth. He's getting booed. Again.

What a good sport.

"This is why I love you guys."

And there they are. Miz and Truth come down. Actually, I'm figuring Cena makes his own comeback once the boots to asses starts.

Miz is brutal: ...you can't see me. Last night nobody wanted to see you.

Truth talking that Truth talk.

Cena actually gets pissed. Well, until he had to get in the Mr. T reference and sacrificed the emotion for the line.

Cena: No one cares about you guys. True. That's bad, though.

You watch these guys shrink before your eyes as Raw ends in a complete anti-climax. Cena just leaves and Truth and Miz start arguing.

They start fighting. Truth decks Miz. Calm down, Cena is playing us. Let's get him. They head to the back together.

But it's a trick. Miz gets Truth from behind on the ramp. I'm thinking we're back to Cena vs. Miz.

So how soon is Rock coming back?
