This is not the usual type of piece I write, but John Cena really needs some help.

As you know, Cena is trapped in a contract where the leader of The Nexus, Wade Barrett, can command him to do his bidding and, if Cena refuses, Barrett can fire him from WWE.

It's been quite the humiliating pickle for Cena, and it doesn't help that WWE champion Randy Orton hates him, due to years of previous conflict between the two, or help (Cena's merchandising sales) that he's acted with a particular lack of character during this time of crisis, including openly celebrating the opportunity to dishonestly hand Barrett an unearned WWE Championship in exchange for being released from his Nexus obligations. Cena has lost some of his Hustle, Loyalty and Respect from the WWE Universe for that.

Worse, Cena doesn't seem to have any friends in WWE who can help get him out of this mess. Well, right here, right now, I'm John Cena's friend and I'm here to help.

Cena may not know it, but Monday's Raw presents a unique window of opportunity for him to strike back against Nexus in general, and Barrett in particular. Cena should wait until the over-bearing Barrett once again brings him out to the ring to give him his marching orders for the night's Raw.

Cena should step right up into Barrett's face, tell him "No!", and then punch him hard right in that pointy chin of his. He should then violently, as a former top WWE Champion would have said, "stomp a mud-hole in him and walk it flat," tearing Barrett's Nexus shirt off him, and ripping his own Nexus elbow pad off his arm and stuffing it in Barrett's mouth.

When the late arriving Nexus members come out to drag the beaten Barrett away, no doubt the power-hungry Davis Otunga will grab the mic and remind Cena what Michael Cole and the announcers have been yelling the whole segment: "Cena, are you crazy? As soon as Barrett wakes up he's going to…"

Cena: "You idiots. What's Barrett going to do? Who's going to hand y'all the WWE Title Sunday night at Survivor Series, then? Barrett needs me to referee that match, because he knows he can't beat Randy Orton without me cheating for him. You geniuses can't fire me before I referee that title match. Two things to remember until Sunday, you gutless jerks. If I catch any of you between now and then I'll give you the same beating I gave your loud-mouthed leader. As for you, Randy Orton, I promise you Sunday night, I WILL do the right thing."

That leaves Michael Cole and the rest - including a little later a furious Wade Barrett - to speculate on how much deeper a hole Cena has dug for himself this Sunday at Survivor Series, and how much worse The Nexus will treat him after Barrett gets the belt.
