By Wade Keller, PWTorch editor

-- During the final segment, it’s always interesting to see wrestlers gathered like this if for no other reason than to see their relative heights all at once. It makes you realize how little it matters during the course of a match in most cases. Some of the wrestlers who best fill up the ring with charisma and energy and star power are smallest in stature, including Shawn Michaels and C.M. Punk and Daniel Bryan.

-- After the crowd took over with "Daniel Bryan" chants, the cynical part of me thinks John Cena asked Bryan where he was from in part to let the national viewing audience know why he was getting cheered so loudly when the segment was about him and Orton. But that said, it also parlayed very nicely into Cena putting Bryan over as working for what he has achieved as an underdog starting with no advantage compared to Orton, a highly touted third generation wrestler.

-- Earlier in the show, the Bryan-Michaels exchange did not at all give off the vibe that there’s a match between them in the works for WrestleMania 30. That dissipated a lot of the tension, actually, because of Michaels’s annoying zaniness that doesn’t match the stature of his wrestling career. Bryan seemed to “remember Michaels turning on him,” but not be in a position where he was “demanding revenge” or anything. So if WWE plans to have a match between these two, this made it seem less “money.”

-- Regarding the Slammys intro video package, it's always interesting to see who they choose to point out from the roster and in what order. They were aiming to present Raw as an “awards show” more than a “wrestling show” with that intro.

-- It is interesting that they’re trying to move Brodus Clay to a new harder-edged heel character. Can he succeed in that transition?

-- Quotebook - C.M. Punk's acceptance speech: "I feel slightly strange accepting any award while not wearing pants.”
