-The crowd response on Sunday when Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus are fighting will be interesting consider the pro-Ziggler chants during his qualifying match.

-Michael Cole did a nice job explaining The Big Show’s decision to turn, saying that when he got fired and nobody came to his defense, a light bulb went off in his head and he decided to be the giant he could be and dominate his opposition. Jerry Lawler mildly protested Show’s approach in response rather than just nodding along, but he could have been a little more passionate in decrying Show’s tactics. Cole added in response that there is no shame in Show doing what he had to do to feed his family. What does it say about WWE’s pay scale or Big Show’s handling of money that he is livng so check-to-check that he couldn’t feed his family unless he traded in his integrity and kindness for cruelty and ruthlessness in order to keep his WWE job? They could have at least come up with a backstory that he lost a ton of money in real estate or something like that to make it more believable.

-The crowd did the “What?” routine wtih A.J. Every time the crowd does that now, they should just pipe in Miz going, “What?! Really? Really?”

-I wasn’t expecting a surprise match with Vader on this show. I bet Heath Slater is as surprised as anyone. Lawler observed that he looks the same as he did during his prime years. Other than an added 75 pounds or so, perhaps that’s true. He also said he has the same face as John Gaborik (known best as a judge on the first Tough Enough). Cole joked that the first rib ever played on him as McMahon asking him to try on Vader’s mask to see if it fit. Lawler said it still smells the same. Vader, for what it’s worth, was known for having the some of the smelliest gear of all wrestlers. The no. 1 trend in the world was “Vader Time” after Vader won.

-A window into what type of a bully Vince McMahon is came when he mocked Jim Ross this week. And, spineless go-along-get-along John Cena walked in and didn’t even come to Ross’s defense. He just moved right into things that concerned him. And, then there’s the irony of the “B.A. Star” poster hanging right behind him.

-They only had one good camera angle to work with on the replay of that Big Show punch of Vince. Not sure who to blame on that key move showing so much light, but it was a bummer it didn’t look better. That said, overall an intriguing finish to the show and final hook for the pay-per-view, with a spirited babyface promo by John Cena as the highlight along with Vince promising to attend.
