Hey, TNA, now's your chance. Never before in TNA history has there been a better chance to take advantage of WWE being run by a manic, crazy man. After the embarrassing, awful, terrible "effort" Monday night on Raw, TNA has an opening with their biggest PPV of the year on Sunday and the follow-through on future Impacts. Basically, they just have to do the complete opposite of what WWE is doing right now.

Unfortunately, TNA re-signed Hulk Hogan, which means the opportunity to go all the way with the likes of Robert Roode, James Storm, Crimson, Matt Morgan, Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, Daniels, Austin Aries, etc. is probably out of the question since TNA will resume the Hogan-Bischoff-Dixie "power struggle" storyline after Bound for Glory.

TNA's roster of future stars having conflicts and resolving them in the ring will likely be overshadowed by the next chapter of the power struggle, but, boy, oh boy, is there an opportunity to make noise. TNA can be the complete opposite of WWE, which is currently obsessed with pandering to the fans instead of creating a solid product and playing out McMahon's therapy sessions for two hours every Monday night.

It's hard to remember a recent time when pro wrestling competition has been more de-emphasized in WWE, where titles have held less value, and matches have been treated as annoying interferences in McMahon's therapy sessions. WWE is not and does not claim to be "Where Wrestling Matters." That was TNA, which has delivered on that promise with limited-to-mixed results. But, if TNA wants a foothold in the marketplace, now is the time to go all the way with "Where Wrestling Matters."

TNA can start by position Kurt Angle vs. Robert Roode as the main event of the Bound for Glory PPV on Sunday over a Sting-Hogan "match" that could be as embarrassing as Monday's Raw. It would send the right message that TNA is committed to the future and to a healthy wrestling product. If not, it will be a wasted opportunity to send a message to wrestling fans disenfranchised with WWE and who have given up on TNA in the past that TNA is playing for keeps, not just settling for being second place behind a seriously flawed #1.
