Pro Wrestling Torch was established in 1987 by Wade Keller. One of the primary traits PWTorch has been credited with over the years is assembling the best and most diverse staff of columnists with broad knowledge, but also areas of specialty where they have a particularly strong grasp of history. Every day PWTorch.com presents that team of writers answering your questions, some of which are fact-based and others of which are opinion-based. Either way, we've got you covered with Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, Sean Radican, Greg Parks, James Caldwell, and Wade Keller. Collectively they have over 80 years working for the Torch, writing about wrestling and studying industry history and trends.

If you have a question you'd like us to respond to, send your question to askpwtorch@gmail.com. I, along with the Torch staff, will address your questions in this feature and also the “Ask PWTorch: All-Star Panel” edition which is also published most days here at PWTorch.

PWTorch reader Jeff from Michigan asks: Will Ric Flair really wrestle again for WWE?

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: I doubt it. Not only because of his age, but WWE has effectively watered down Flair and his legacy on-air to the point that for many fans, especially those in WWE's target demographic, it wouldn't be a big deal for Flair to wrestle again, and certainly not worth WWE's self-imposed retirement of Flair.

PWTorch reader Jeff Pollard of Leesville, La. asks: Will WWF Prime Time Wrestling, Monday Nitro, and WCW Saturday Night ever be on WWE Network?

PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: I'm sure everything WWE owns will be available at some point. It's a shame a full library of Raw and Nitro episodes aren't available right now. That should have been a no-brainer with the launch of WWE Network. Prime Time and WCW Saturday Night will probably take some time, but at some point I expect them to be made available. I don't see them as being a priority right now.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: I’ve been disappointed with WWE’s limited library at the launch of the Network and I believe they’d have a better buzz about the Network about those vaunted “lapsed fans” and have more subscribers if they had put more effort into that library at the launch instead of just doing the PPV history and a random mix of old WWF house shows and World Class TV shows. Eventually, though, I assume those shows you listed will be added. WWE should be giving subscribers some idea of how this is going to work and at what pace to expect added content. I think current subscribers committed to six months will resent WWE if they advertise a whole new dose of content right before the six month mark.

PWTorch reader Alexander of Pasadena, Calif. asks: Do you guys think that Roman Reigns would have ended up like Ryback or Big E. without Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins?

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: I don't think so. I think Reigns was pegged early-on as someone WWE saw big potential in, and they would have protected him regardless of how he debuted in WWE. If not as part of The Shield, I think he would have been put in another, similar situation to where he could improve on the main roster without the pressure being on him.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: Reigns has way more of an inherent X-factor charisma and cool demeanor than either Ryback or Big E. We don’t know on the mic yet whether he’ll end up delivering main event level promos, but if he were thrown out there without the protection and shielding of being in the Shield as he developed, it very well could have been a disadvantage and set him back. I think people who deserve to be a top level star find a way to work through being thrown into bad situations. As the All-Star Panelist discussion posted earlier noted, Reigns has the family pedigree among other factors that play into management seeing him as the top prospect to be a centerpiece player for them, and Ryback and Big E. were never seen quite at that level.

PWTorch reader Jeff from Michigan asks: Wouldn't turning Bray Wyatt babyface damage his character and credibility?

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: I would certainly be against turning Wyatt this early in his run. He's really hitting his stride as a character, and WWE can book him more heelish if they want to. The character works as a heel, not as a babyface. We as fans can't be so quick to want to pull the trigger on a turn for guys just because a percentage of the fans get behind them (or don't, in the case of John Cena).

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: Bray is pretty talented and has a special confidence with his presence that I think could overcome a shift in his character from being cast as a heel to being cast as a babyface. I’m not sure how his character would translate to a babyface, as you don’t usually think of manipulative cult leaders as babyfaces to root for. Thankfully, the last Raw before Payback the booking finally did what was obviously called for, which was cement Bray as a coward and egomaniac by having him pick on a vulnerable Jerry Lawler because he didn’t like his message. So the fact that anyone is asking at this very very early stage whether Bray could survive as a babyface because “the fans are turning him babyface” is the fault of the booking, and really shouldn’t be a question that’s even being thought of at this point had the booking been more fundamentally solid.
