Pro Wrestling Torch was established in 1987 by Wade Keller. One of the primary traits PWTorch has been credited with over the years is assembling the best and most diverse staff of columnists with broad knowledge, but also areas of specialty where they have a particularly strong grasp of history. Every day PWTorch.com presents that team of writers answering your questions, some of which are fact-based and others of which are opinion-based. Either way, we've got you covered with Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, Sean Radican, Greg Parks, James Caldwell, and Wade Keller. Collectively they have over 80 years working for the Torch, writing about wrestling and studying industry history and trends.

If you have a question you'd like us to respond to, send your question to askpwtorch@gmail.com. I, along with the Torch staff, will address your questions in this feature and also the “Ask PWTorch: All-Star Panel” edition which is also published most days here at PWTorch.

PWTorch reader Barjinder P. asks: Did Paul Heyman know the streak would end? Michael Cole? Hunter? Who do you believe knew?

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: A small handful of people knew before WrestleMania started and then various people and departments were told on a need-to-know basis thereafter as the event progressed. Paul Heyman knew. Triple H knew. Michael Cole knew, but not for long. I went much more in-depth on this on my 51 minute VIP Keller Hotline on Sunday night a couple hours after the event ended, and also walked through a lot of insider details on the timeline of everything in the "Page 2 Radar" column in this week's PWTorch Weekly Newsletter posted early this morning with full coverage of WrestleMania 30 (You can sign up here).

PWTorch reader Jeff G. from Providence, R.I. asks: Hi there. Been a reader for years - love the site and this is one of my favorite features. I know a lot of people give Triple H a bad time (don't like the way he got to the top, thought he was average in the ring), but personal opinions aside, I give him a lot of credit for reaching out to some of the folks Vince McMahon may had have bad relationships with, such as Warrior and Bruno Sammartino, and found a way to mend fences and get them back in the fold and in the HOF. I wondered if there were any performers tho who Hunter had personal heat with that would keep them out of the HOF (aside from the obvious answer, Chyna)?

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: Those examples are more a case of Vince McMahon deciding he wanted Bruno last year and Warrior this year, then assigning Triple H the task of doing whatever it took to make it happen. Triple H did a good job with both, and neither were easy to coordinate due to the history between both wrestlers and WWE. I don't think there are any other big names left that Triple H would have any issue being in charge of bringing into the HOF other than, as you say, Chyna. She's unlikely to go in, although this would have been the class to do it given how controversial and odd this year's group was.

PWTorch reader R. Jack asks: Lately, for Undertaker, it's been: fight at WrestleMania, take around 10 months off, return post-Elimination Chamber, repeat. At the moment, I highly doubt Taker will return for WM31. If he did return, it wouldn't be much of a quality match in my opinion. But what if he were to take 1 year and 10 months off, and return post-2016 Elimination Chamber, to face John Cena? This would certainly make his WM match seem fresh. He'd have plenty of time to rest and recover by then. It would be a dream match, to conclude his career, in his home state of Texas. Do you think this is a possibility?

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: It's a possibility, but highly unlikely. The wrestlers I've talked to the past few days in WWE who know Taker are split on whether he'll wrestle one more match, but those who say he won't are much more sure for reasons I discussed on the VIP Keller Hotline and PWTorch Newsletter this week in greater detail than I can go into in the Ask PWTorch format. There's a chance Taker returns for one more match, and maybe an extra year off would be the key, but for reasons I reported on the VIP side of things, my feeling is he won't return next year or the year after.

PWTorch reader & VIP MEMBER Matt Bell asks: I'm watching Raw right now, and Daniel Bryan's incessant celebration with two heavy championship belts is some of the worst no-selling of an injury I've ever seen. I've read people's excuses about his celebration at Mania, and how adrenaline could help him shrug off the pain for that special moment, but if that were the case, TODAY his shoulder should be just about immobile. He didn't have the slightest regard for his "condition" from last night, using his left arm to expressively make points while cutting a promo, and he must have lifted that belt into the air 40 times during that segment. How come Daniel Bryan gets a pass on this foolishness, where Cena gets crucified for every little thing he does?

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: I don't know why Bryan's getting a pass, assuming he is everywhere. Maybe management just felt the injured shoulder storyline served its purpose for WrestleMania, but they wanted to move past it and just have Bryan "do his thing" with the chanting and arms without interference, so Bryan was just following orders. I'm all for selling injuries for a believable amount of time and doing so consistently. WWE could be better about that across the board, and Sunday to Monday with Bryan is a good example.

PWTorch reader Will from London asks: How much has Chris Benoit's death shaped and influenced the WWE as it is today? For example the Wellness Program, the PG era, fewer chairshots to the head, etc. Would WWE have gone in this direction had the Benoit situation not happened? Has a good thing come out of something bad? Look forward to reading your take on this.

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: I think WWE would look pretty much the same. They went PG because there is money for WWE in that, both in advertising for their shows and for toy deals like Mattel. The Wellness Program was already in place when Benoit died.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: I think the severity of the Benoit situation put WWE in a position where they had to be much more diligent in policing concussions and chair shots to the head. Because of Benoit, they are less able to be lenient in executing the Wellness Policy, although at this point, now that there's not much of any media or government pressure, there's virtually no transparency about what happens with the program these days. The PG Era was kicking ten years ago (my 10 Yrs Ago VIP Keller Hotline I posted on the VIP website several days ago detailed the actual start of the policy and explained the motivation at the time), so that was before Benoit.
