The following is the tenth installment of a transcript of our four–hour exclusive one–on–one interview with former WWE writer John Piermarini. Piermarini worked on writing WWE Raw with Vince McMahon and Brian Gewirtz for almost all of 2009 and 2010. This interview was conducted in two sessions on Jan. 21 and 22. In this installment, he talks about working with various Divas, that strange R–Truth vignette, Sheamus's big push last year, and more.

Wade Keller: How was Eve to work with?

John Piermiarni: Eve is someone that I think we could capitalize on as far as MMA fans go. Being someone who trains in jiu jitsu, I used to pitch all the time we need to incorporate that into her matches. I think that she could bring a large audience into WWE not only by how she looks but what she can do in the ring. I think she has a great look, I think she's talented in the ring, and I think that she can do specific maneuvers in the ring that other Divas can't do. I think that she needs to be showcased. You can say this about Divas, but they're not going to dedicate more than the one segment per week for the girls. She's just gonna have to wait until a heel holds the title or something happens to Natalya because it's not going to happen right now.

Keller: How much does their performance on TV or even reports from house shows have to do with who might be next in line to get that consistent mic work or match on Raw or Smackdown? How is that decided? Or is there knowledge of who's a good worker, who are we investing in, who is politically right? What makes somebody rise to the top in a crowded Divas division with only one segment per week?
