-The Motley Fool financial website analyzed the latest WWE financial statement as follows: When it comes to wringing out profits, WWE is clearly at the top of its game. The question for investors is whether they're willing to buy into a company with such a murky revenue picture. For my own part, I suspect revenues will remain in a slow-growth phase for quite a while. But on the other hand, wrasslin' ain't goin' nowhere anytime soon, so I'm also confident that there will be few nasty downside surprises. So long as WWE keeps a headlock on costs and continues to reward investors with a dividend and ample free cash flow, I'd be glad to keep it on my tag team. And if investor uncertainty drops the price over the next few months, that would help seal the deal. But if you get in the ring with these brutes, keep your eyes peeled. A big drop in revenues, like a folding chair to the back of the head, could change the direction of the match in a flash. Full article link: Click Here. [Thanks to PWTorch.com reader Mercury67]

-WWE is planning to air Tough Enough segments within Smackdown during the fall season to coincide with the important sweeps period. Tough Enough formerly was a stand-alone show co-produced by WWE and MTV featuring a reality-TV style look at students training to become pro wrestlers, with a WWE contract being awarded to the winner after trainers (and viewers) decided who was best. Viewers will be able to vote and have an influence on which students are kept and which are voted off. There's no word yet on when the tryouts will be or who the trainers will be for the fourth edition of Tough Enough. Maven, Christopher Nowinski, Johnny Nitro, Nidia, Jackie Gayda, Shaniqua (Linda Miles), Matt Morgan, and Matt Capotelli are among the Tough Enough alum who have been under WWE contract at one time or another.

-Trish Stratus is recovering from a broken hand and won't be able to wrestle for another month or two as a result.
