TV Wrestling Viewership Break Down
Week of August 24

- WWE drew their standard 93 percent share of the total TV Wrestling audience last week.

Accounting for DVR viewing, there was no discernible bump for the post-Summerslam Raw, which drew fewer viewers than the PPV lead-in episode. Also, the Tough Enough season finale marginally increased with DVR viewing added in.

Overall, it was a down week for pro wrestling TV despite following Summerslam.

WWE Raw & Smackdown & Tough Enough, TNA Impact & ROH TV

- Total Live TV Wrestling Viewership: 7.408 million total viewers, down from 7.749 million viewers the previous week. This was the fewest combined first-run viewers since the Week of July 13.

- Total DVR Added Viewership: 8.402 million total viewers, down from 8.656 million viewers last week.

- Monday, August 24: WWE Raw's three individual hours averaged 3.721 million viewers live + same day, down from 3.776 million viewers last week.

DVR viewing bumped Raw up to 4.194 million viewers, which was still down from 4.254 million viewers last week.

8:00 p.m.: 3.606 million live viewers, 4.053 million with DVR (+12.4%)
9:00 p.m.: 3.794 million live viewers, 4.195 million with DVR (+10.6%)
10:00 p.m.: 3.764 million live viewers, 4.334 million with DVR (+15.1%)

-SHOW AVG.: 3.721 million viewers live, 4.194 million with DVR (+12.7%)
-LAST WEEK: 3.776 million viewers live, 4.254 million with DVR (+12.6%)

Overall, the August 24 Raw grabbed 50 percent of the total TV wrestling audience, in-between the last two weeks.

- Tuesday, August 25: The Tough Enough season finale drew 981,000 viewers live, down from 998,000 the previous week.

DVR viewing added 19 percent for a total of 1.167 million total viewers, up from 1.138 million total viewers last week.

- Wednesday, Aug. 26: Ring of Honor's only airing at 11:00 p.m. EST drew 149,000 viewers, essentially even with the previous three weeks. ROH did not place in the weekly cable TV rankings, therefore DVR viewing was not accounted for.

- Wednesday, Aug. 26: TNA Impact drew 279,000 first-run viewers at 9:00 p.m. EST, down from 323,000 last week.

Impact added 47,000 DVR viewers and the midnight replay after ROH TV drew 83,000 viewers.

Therefore, TNA's total audience was 409,000 viewers, down from 439,000 viewers last week.

- Thursday, Aug. 27: WWE Smackdown drew 2.195 million first-run viewers, down from 2.434 million viewers last week.

DVR viewing added 13 percent to bring total viewership to 2.483 million viewers, down from 2.680 million total viewers last week.
