WWE star Brock Lesnar appeared on ESPN's SportsCenter in the 9:00 a.m. EST hour on Tuesday morning to promote Summerslam.

The discussion with SportsCenter anchor Kevin Negandhi featured an introspective, fan-friendly Lesnar for the second straight SportsCenter interview. This followed his appearance on SportsCenter in March to promote WrestleMania 31 and announce his decision to re-sign with WWE and shun UFC.

- Lesnar and Negandhi opened with a review of the last 12 hours, specifically Lesnar's homecoming on Raw in Minnesota, being Tombstoned by The Undertaker, and hopping on a plane to fly to Connecticut to appear on SportsCenter.

- Capturing Lesnar's fan-friendly approach, Lesnar talked about being conflicted over receiving "The Streak win" against Taker at WM30 last year. Lesnar said of course he would take the win, but he felt conflicted over taking away The Streak from Taker, the fans, and WWE as a whole.

Lesnar said he was willing to take on the burden of removing The Streak from WWE because he felt like he could handle that responsibility and he is a part-timer. Whereas a full-time wrestler might not survive in the eyes of the audience being viewed as "the guy who broke The Streak" on a week-in, week-out basis. It was an interesting perspective from Lesnar.

Not that he had much say in the final decision, but Lesnar said he decided to go along with Vince McMahon's wishes because he trusted McMahon's plan for breaking The Streak.

- Later, Lesnar compared McMahon and UFC president Dana White following White's tongue-in-cheek, fire-starter on pro wrestling being "fake." Lesnar said he gets it that White was trying to protect his fight promotion, but Lesnar said WWE and UFC are essentially in the same business promoting fights. He noted WWE's fights are just staged and pre-determined.

Lesnar said UFC modeled itself after the pro wrestling promotional model, and he believes McMahon promotes "fights" better than White does, mainly because McMahon has been doing it "his whole life." Negandhi chimed in that WWE has lasted through the generations.

- Lesnar also discussed the differences in training for amateur wrestling, WWE, the NFL, and UFC. Lesnar joked that he didn't last long in football (one training camp with the Vikings) because he didn't know where the hits were coming from. Lesnar said he could handle that better in UFC, but mostly enjoys "performing" in a WWE ring.
