TV actor Stephen Amell has officially been announced for next Monday's Raw in Washington state.

Last month, Amell teased an official appearance when WWE travels to the Pacific Northwest. WWE made it official Monday night.

WWE issued a press release Monday night announcing details on Amell's guest-starring role involving Cody Rhodes:

Actor Stephen Amell, who plays the title role on the hit series Arrow, will guest star on WWE’s Monday Night Raw next Monday, August 10, at 8:00/7:00 CST on USA Network. After several visits to Monday Night Raw, Amell will be appearing as a guest star for the first time.

Based on characters from DC Comics, Arrow tells the story of billionaire Oliver Queen who, after being gone for five years and suffering unimaginable ordeals, returned home to Starling City with a mysterious agenda and a set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime as “The Arrow” in this hard-hitting action series.

Next up for Amell is the role of Casey Jones in Paramount Pictures’ and Nickelodeon Movies’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Produced by Michael Bay, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 opens in theaters Summer 2016.

Actor Stephen Amell from the "Arrow" TV series is teasing WWE involvement before Summerslam.

Amell released a Facebook video noting that WWE has shows in the Pacific Northwest in August that might draw his attention.

Amell, who has been in a social media feud with Cody Rhodes's "Stardust" character, said in the video: "Why are pro wrestlers taking shots at me? Are they intimidated? I'm just an actor. WWE is rolling through the Pacific Northwest in a couple of weeks, so maybe we'll find out then if I get a day off."

Before Summerslam, WWE has house shows in Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., Canada on August 8 & 9, Raw TV live in Everett, Wash. on Aug. 10, and Smackdown TV in Portland, Ore. on Aug. 11.
